  1. Dan Campbell's insane decisions and the Lions playing tight cost them big time.
  2. Carroll and the Hawks agree to go separate ways as far as head coach goes.
  3. I have seen some of the gestures but no idea what they mean.
  4. In all the discussion regarding the missed call on the two-point conversion, the mistake on the tripping call is being overlooked.Tony Pollard's 7-yard run on 1st and 10 at the 29 was called back after Dallas tight end Peyton Hendershot was called for tripping, and the Cowboys faced a first-and-25 on the Lions' 44. Video of that initial first-down play, reviewed by ESPN, showed that Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson -- not Hendershot -- should have been the one flagged for attempting to trip Pollard. If the correct call is made the Cowboys have 1st and 10 inside the 20 instead of 1st and 25 at the 44. A penalty against the Lions on that play would have set up the Cowboys with a first down after the two-minute warning and a chance to run more of the clock while forcing the Lions to use their remaining timeouts. Just boils down to bad officiating during crucial moments of a football game.
  5. Jets vs Dolphins 1980. No announcers during entire broadcast. https://youtu.be/ea1FxHlASII?si=73fHq2wtMJ43NS91
  6. Apparently fell in his home and hit his head. Heckuva player. Will never forget the Music City Miracle. Although it was very questionable. RIP Frank. https://www.nfl.com/news/former-titans-te-frank-wycheck-dies-at-age-52
  7. It was illegal up to 2005. As for the "tush push" — the quarterback sneak the Philadelphia Eagles have used so successfully — the play has been legal in the NFL since 2005 when the league removed the language in the rule book that prohibited pushing offensive players. https://www.livenowfox.com/sports/nfl-explores-ban-on-hip-drop-tackle-considers-tush-push-rule-change-for-safety
  8. He was an incredible running back. In an era where passing had not really taken off yet he averaged 104 yards rushing per game. In 9 seasons, he played in 118 games and started all 118 games.
  9. I like it. I had hoped back in 2016 Dallas was trade down from 1.04 pick up a extra 2nd round pick and still get Henry. With the Oline they had then he would have run wild.
  10. Part of Broncos Super Bowl 50 team. He is in hospice care not doing well. Ex-NFL Running Back Ronnie Hillman Enters Hospice Care (msn.com)
  11. What a pathetic end for a game. What made Denver think that all of a sudden their offense would win the game for them.
  12. I don't think I have ever seen this many starting QBs move around (minus retirements) in one off-season. And more still to come.
  13. Hue Jackson chiming in that a similar situation occurred during his time in CLE. Jackson tweeted Tuesday night that Browns owner Jimmy Haslam “was happy we kept losing” and that he was offered “a good number” for each defeat. The director of Jackson’s foundation also charged Browns’ executives Sashi Brown, Paul DePodesta, and Andrew Berry with receiving bonuses for losing games. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/nfl-world-reacts-to-wednesdays-hue-jackson-news/ar-AAToQ7n?li=BBnb7Kz
  14. It's funny how Instant Replay must have undeniable evidence to overturn a ref's call but in this case the NFL is dismissing the outcomes by law enforcement and their own internal investigation just so they don't have to say they made a mistake in a six game suspension. IMO, the NFL backed themselves into a corner when they did not include the other transgression (pulling the ladies top down) and only used the alleged domestic violence charge. Had they included that, they could suspend him for that action. At this point, the two parties need to come to a mutual agreement. Serve a shorter suspension and just move on.
  15. The Greatest of all Time. Always will be The Champ.
  16. Just saw this too. Take care of yourself FBJ. Praying for your recovery.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. What if this was some type of strategic move by Dumervil and his agent to get him to become a FA. If everything was agreed to, submitting the paperwork should be the easiest thing to do. It just seems too "convenient" that now instead of taking what DEN could afford to give him, he is now free to sign anywhere for the max he can get....simply because the paperwork wasn't received on time.
  18. that was excellent. Very emotional song. Job well done. Have you played it for the neighbors? What was the reaction if you did?
  19. I've been reading this debate and it is rather comical in regards to the comparisons. IMO, the NFL is way to concerned about cosmetic BS and glosses over relevant issues that they would just rather ignore and hope it goes away. In regards to analogy, I see it this way in everyday life. Gore: I am docked an hours pay for my tie not being a double-knot windsor. Brady: I am docked 45 minutes pay for taking a swing at a co-worker but not connecting. Basically, is it worse to the company to have an employee walking around with a tie on, but not tied to corporate specs. Or, to have an employee that makes an attempt at injuring another employee. I think most employers would find the latter to be the greater offense.
  20. Sorry to hear that Junkyard. Prayers are sent to everyone there.
  21. Hey Junkyard, any word from your friend with kids in the school ? Prayers go out to all of the people in the community.
  22. We really don't know what the Royal Family, the hospital, or the royal police said to her privately. In the media, the Royal Family must keep a certain persona but there is no telling what was said to her in private discussions. Even with that though, suicide is too much.
