  1. I'm pretty darn happy with Tennessee's class, considering it looked like it was going to be a disaster 3 weeks ago. GO VOLS
  2. Before I buy this book. I have to ask this. All of my leagues are auction leagues. Is this book geared primarily toward draft leagues, as most magazines are, or does it deal more with other aspects than the draft?
  3. All of my leagues are winner take all. But, the 2 teams in the final usually come to some agreement on a split. It's never 50 / 50, but there is some kind of split. Usually the loser walks away with a hundred bucks or so. I don't see a problem with it. The money is nice, but it's the championship and bragging rights that I really want.
  4. What is this book? The Huddle was very instrumental in some of my key free agent acquisitions that led to my first title in a league I had been trying to win for several years. They also played a big part in me starting Chris Jenkins over Jerome Harrison last week, but hey, nobody's right all of the time Thanks
  5. You could apply decimal point scoring to that game to see who comes out ahead. You would still be using the lineup they submitted, and the one whose players performed better - albeit ever so slightly - would win. Another idea would be to have each team pick a tie breaker player from the week 17 games. This way they could maybe avoid the teams who may sit players. I've been in this situation before, and trust me, you will not find yourself here again. Once this happens, you always make sure that there is a system in place to break ties. Good Luck
  6. Finally won a local I've been trying to win since 2001. Had my best RB performance of the season on Sunday. My RB's sucked this year. My winning lineup: Aaron Rogers Jerome Harrison Beanie Wells Larry Fitzgerald Roddy White Derrick Mason Fred Davis Lawrence Tynes Saints Defense / ST Damn, this feels good!!
  7. Exact same for me. My opponent had Manning and Addai. Any other week, I'm toast. But, I have won the same way all year long. I had the least amount of points scored against me all season long. I'm up by 40 and it looks like that trend will hold. No one in this league has ever won the championship with Manning. But, those with him have made the championship game several times.
  8. I think that Romo has improved quite a bit this year.
  9. I'm a Cowboys fan, and it took me forever to get his name right. Part of it, was that I had even heard announcers on TV get it wrong.
  10. Been money all year. It's almost like he has Jackson and Grant starting on his fantasy team today. Damn!
  11. 7 Title games???? Man, how many leagues are you in?
  12. I need Aaron Rodgers to be his usual studly self. A repeat of last week from Jerome Harrison would be very nice since I've actually got him in my lineup today. And most of all, I need Peyton Manning and Dallas Clark to take a seat on the bench!
  13. Looks like I'm in thanks to Aaron Rodgers. Had Harrison and Wallace on my bench. Would have made it in my other league had I not substituted Palmer for Alex Smith.
  14. I think that the best chances for a championship is for them to rest their stars. Of course, I'm talking about my championship as my opponent next week has Manning, Clark and Collie. My opinion though, is that they play as long as it's close.
