Nice call with In America. Wasn't really popular at the box office, but some tremendous acting by Djimon Hounsou and Samantha Morton. I'm not a religious person, but one of my favorite movies is The Apostle with Robert Duvall. The scene where Billy Bob Thornton comes to destroy the church always gets me a little misty. One of the best acting ensembles ever.

Williamson's grandmother helped raise him. This is an absolutely disgracefull move by the Vikings. Troy said if they told him they were going to take his salary for the rest of the year, he still would have gone. He coordinated the funeral and had to arrange travel for much of his family, several of whom are in the armed forces. Shame on the Vikings.

I think you could be better off with Brown than Henry. Brown seems to finally be coming into his own. I think he'll be stronger and stronger as the season wears on (and the coaches seem to be getting more confident in his production). Now that the bye weeks are coming, and injuries start to affect rosters, you may be happy with the additional depth Curtis gives you. I've also alway been wary of Denver backs, but that's just me.

I'm fine with it. The neighborhood tavern has a dozen big screens showing all the games. It's a short stumble from my house and gives me an excuse to leave every Sunday from noon until 7. If I was in my own basement, my wife would know how many beers I've actually had!
