  1. In a keeper league, would you deal VYoung for JRussell? As much as I love JRock (I'm a lifelong LSU fan), I'm thinking not because of this league's scoring system. We start 2 QBs. They get 1pt per 20yds, 4pt per TD, and -1 per INT. Here's the caveat, though...in this league, you get 1pt per 5yds rushing. My other two QBs are Aaron Rodgers and Jason Campbell, and the good news for me this year is that I have the No1 waiver priority, so I get Favre should he end up on the Packers roster or on another. So I guess the question here is if Young will be the longterm QB for Tennessee, and if he is, will his rushing yds be enough to make him a higher scorer than Russell? Thanks for any help.
  2. I'm in a league that will be using two defenses, and I need help selecting a 2nd defense...understanding how arbitrary and unpredictable defenses can be. The options remaining are (in no particular order): Denver Cincinnati New Orleans Cleveland Miami St. Louis San Francisco Oakland Atlanta Detroit Kansas City EDIT: Wanted to add our league's defensive scoring system, though I think it's pretty basic. Sack=1 INT, FR, Safety, Block kick=2 TD=6 0 pts=10 1-6 pts=7 7-13 pts=4 14-20 pts=1 21-27 pts=0 28-34 pts = -1 35+ pts= -4
  3. Worked for Bowe when he was at LSU. As for Bush, one thing I think is key is that he has been working out in NOLA with the team. That didn't happen last year. If nothing else, it shows a greater commitment to the Saints.
  4. Then they weren't watching McFadden very closely and were instead listening to the NFL Network talking head who admitted he actually watched little footage of McFadden.
  5. Good grief...stop listening to the media and quit taking what they say to the nth degree. Name one time McFadden has been in legal trouble.
  6. I was made an offer by another owner: I get Brees/Heap/Fargas, and I give Garrard/Witten/Selvin Young. I don't see anyway I can do that deal because Fargas will split carries at best, and I think Young has to be the current favorite to get the bulk of the carries in Denver with Travis Henry getting his pink slip. So I'm thinking about offering him Garrard and Witten for Brees and Heap. Everything I've read says that Heap should get more opportunities with the new OC in Baltimore. I know he was hurt for most of last year with the hamstring injury, but he played in all 16 games the two years previous. Would this be a good deal for me? Is it enough? Am I insulting the other owner? Thoughts? Thanks a bunch in advance.
  7. For non-Saints and non-Panther fans, who is the better QB, Brees or Delhomme? Which would you say is the better QB in the NFL, not necessarily fantasy? Why? If you had to choose one for your NFL team, who would it be? Thanks.
  8. Thanks. Just saw one depth chart that had Lenon at SLB as the starter and Dizon in the middle. Last year was my first year playing with IDPs, so I'm still trying to get used to playing with them in fantasy leagues.
  9. Quick question...are you guys thinking that Dizon will replace Lenon this year? You're talking like Lenon is gone, but he's still in Detroit. What's the word here?
