    New Forum Issues

Click on your name at the top-right and go into your account settings. You'll see notification settings on the right. That is where you manage that type of thing.

  3. Click search entry field, select members.
  4. They requested yesterday that I remove the password on the Dynasty Warz forum.
  5. The Huddle is currently preparing to undertake a massive redesign/replatform project. The design team at USA Today is beginning work on the new user interface and we'd like your help. They would like to chat with some of the Huddle's power users. And what I mean by power users has nothing to do with these forums. What we're looking for are some users that heavily rely our custom myHuddle tools. Users with multiple league's scoring and players entered and maintained. Users that utilize those custom leagues to view the weekly Start Bench Tool and Rankings/Projections, the Strength of Schedule Tool, the Weekly and Season-To-Date Stats, the Team Position Rankings Tool, etc. You get the idea. If you fall into that category of Huddle user and are willing to speak with our design team on a 20-30 minute phone call, shoot me an email at walters@thehuddle.com and we can discuss the particulars. Thanks.
  6. The way they've explained it to me is that it has to do with the inability to track the password protected forums due to possible password changes. They are working on a new "clubs" feature of their next release that should remedy the need to password protect a forum.
  7. Your notifications are set, so again this must have to do with how private forums are set up in the new software.
  8. That doesn't appear to be the case anymore for private forums.
  9. Mods listed set. As for the other issue, both of those forums are private so I can't get in to investigate. But my guess is that since they are private forums they don't allow following.

We've taken care of that one. But you, as our lead mod, should have the ability to flag someone as a spammer. Click on the user's name in the post to go to their profile. There you'll see a "flag as spammer" button in the left rail. When you do that they will be banned, all their content will be deleted and we'll be notified.

Wow. That's a really old and inflexible setup. It's simply not going to play well with more modern responsive web design. I'd just switch and use Chrome and call it good. It will likely make live easier beyond just the use of these forums.

Sounds like you may need to clear your browser's data files (cache) and then restart your browser.

They've opened a ticket on this and will get it fixed. UPDATE: Fixed.
  14. All league moderator permissions have been reset post-conversion to the new platform and software. Unfortunately the league assignments were lost. If you need your mod permissions reset for a league forum please list it, or them, below. Also, if you know the other mods for your league forum or mods that are no longer needed you can list them also. Sorry for this mix-up and inconvenience. I'll stay on top of this topic as best I can to get all the requests processed. Thanks for your patience.
  15. Okay. As he stated... right click and hold on the title and it will switch to edit mode. That should work for forums you mod for and for topics you start.

    New Forum Issues

We are aware of the issues with league moderators and are working with IPS to find a fix. There are almost 200 league mods, so this may take a while. I will post here when we have a resolution. UPDATE:
  17. Please post any issues with the new forums in this topic. Thanks.
  18. The mods are currently configured wrong due to a mass update being applied incorrectly. I'm working with IPS to correct the issue. We have close to 200 mods, so this may take a while. Also, if you experience any issues with the new forums, please post them in the support forum topic I've started so that we have a central location to work with. No PM's or side topics please. Thanks.

    new huddle website

For clarification, the home page is not being "fixed" as there's nothing wrong with it. As I've already mentioned, the content flow for the new home page is basically the same as before. We do hope to address the font size within the articles at some point.
  20. Please ensure you are checking the "remember me" box on the login form. Without that checked your login credentials will not be maintained throughout the site.

    Website new look

We are working with the design team to find a better solution for that. The reality is that most design these days is done so it looks good on a mobile device.

stevegrab - Yes, the design is almost completely out of our hands at this point. But we continue to try to influence things as best we can. On the HP (since I manage that flow) I think you'll find it not that much different than before. That is my goal. You'll still see the important items of the day in the hero box at the top. The only difference is we have 4 items in the hero now instead of just one. But as we get later into the week some items will fall lower in the stack on the HP than before once they drop out of the hero. I have an idea that may remedy that, but I'm still working on it and determining if it's really a better flow. Thanks for the feedback.
