  1. Bears acquired WR Keenan Allen from the Chargers in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round pick. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the cap-strapped Chargers approached Allen about a pay cut from his scheduled $18.1 million salary, but that the veteran wideout understandably declined. It would seem Allen knew there would be a trade market for his services. He now departs the only franchise he’s ever known for a Bears organization that appears poised to select USC’s Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall. Chicago already has has a legit WR1 in D.J. Moore, but they want to avoid the mistakes of so many other rookie-starting teams and surround Williams with as many weapons as possible to gain early-career momentum. Going on 32 with a history of hamstring injuries, Allen is nevertheless as consistent as it gets in the middle of the field when he stays on the field, something he did in 2023 until the Bolts threw in the towel late. It’s devastating for Justin Herbert, but Allen should be able to maintain WR2 PPR relevance even with Moore in the fold.
  2. ATL traded Ridder straight up to AZ for Rondale Moore.
  3. Steve covered it. I've seen this before with MFL's definition of a blocked kick. it can't cross the line of scrimmage, if it does it won't count.
  4. we were all noobs at one time. as long as it's in the Advice forum, that's kinda what this place is for.
  5. lol, i wanted Tank to backup ETN. I preselected him and and Russ, honestly I'm not sure which one i had listed first in my preselect tho.
  6. totally agree. altho...isn't that how Amazon started? Their first NFL game was a playoff game I believe. it was pretty easy to get a free trial so you could watch that game. which i did with no intention of subscribing to it. since then I watch a lot of stuff on amazon. so that worked well for them i guess. what does peacock have to offer? hopefully at least a free trial like before so we can at least watch the game. we'll see i guess,
  7. Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr., formerly of the Rams, to a one-year contract worth "up to" $18 million.
  8. gotta wonder if he knew at that time he was in danger of being suspended. that could cause some of those issues I guess if he knew he was only going be playing for a few more games. I guess I forget, how bad were his gambling issues?
  9. Can't answer? I can, cuz you thought you were logged in as LC asking yourself, your only friend here what he was doing. Here's another one for you, show me where I turned down the wager. I'll wait.
  10. how come you had to ask yourself what you were doing on SB Sunday?
  11. and you're a liar. I never turned down our wager. I only said I didn't trust you because you had proved you are a clown. see above. and someone else had to hold the money. you then kept up your childish act and never made an effort to have a wager. I was even going to suggest LC could hold the money. Lol, good thing I didn't do that. Sorry LC. go back and look, you were the only one who turned down the wager and then got all spun out after.
  12. Interesting how you quoted yourself and asked yourself a question. kinda the mistake an alias makes. forgot who you were logged in as? LC?
  13. I guess that's the same thing, we didn't want to waste a timeout on what looked like a catch. vs we wanted to save that timeout. omg Smith is trying to hurry up the next play, i need to waste a timeout right now just in case.
  14. i remember he did, but I pretty sure it was on facebook and not here and after all the replays. and who can blame him? It's not like he's an eagles fan complaining about the play.
  15. it was the first eagles drive of the game. i don't think saving timeouts were even close to a concern yet. jeebus, no one showed any concern until after they came back from commercial after the td was scored. Seriously....show me a 49ers fan who was screaming that wasn't a catch! Not til after the event8ual td and commercial and multiple angles. only two people knew that wasn't a catch, Smith and LC.
  16. I think so. you readily admit your team cheated and you blame the opposing coach for not catching it. I've done nothing but defend the call made at the time. which i think was wrong. and so do you. How you doin"?
  17. got it. as an eagles fan instead of going whoohoo...what an awesome catch, chives yea! you were going that stupid coach should be challenging that, this play is stupid.
  18. lol, i hurt your feelings so now i am not allowed to discuss or disagree with you. What's funny i was sticking up for your Eagles player who did the smart thing, but you want to even argue about that. just to prove you know more about football then current nfl coaches, . my bad.
  19. help me understand....how did he tell everyone he didn't catch it? by jumping up and running to the line of scrimmage pounding his fist together? lets rush this play? I suppose. but again , i saw that, you saw that. could they see that from the sidelines?
  20. you say that like he wouldn't be aware he didn't catch it. lol, Did you see any SF players calling for a replay, you know like they saw it wasn't a catch? and signaled to shanahan he needed to challenge it? it was down in the corner, certainly not the best camera angles. Especially for any coaches. Yes Smith knew there would be doubt. only other person on the planet was apparently you. He did the smart thing calling for a quick snap after....no one knew at that exact moment he didn't catch it. certainly not the ref, certainly not NY. certainly not the 49ers that early in the game knew they needed to challenge. no one announcing the game knew. But I guess we should all know you did.
  21. meh.....there has been a lot of angst early on this week about similiar tackles causing similiar injuries to star player. non football people thing omg! it's the nature of the game. whats a 300 lber to do? he's gonna wrap up around the waste like he's taught and fall to the ground. the tacklee should get his foot out of the way!
