  1. I just traded Aaron Rogers for Foster in Dynasty. The trade is always bitter sweet, but you cant GET if you dont GIVE.
  2. Exactly!! I snagged Bradshaw late in the draft knowing that Earth was gonna get picked first. Especially when Fire left for Tampa and did squat, I knew wind was gonna be the feature back on that team. Now I'm just waiting for Bradshaw to get traded as a feature role somewhere else and allow my stashed player Danny Ware to come up. Truly a thing of beauty when a plan comes together on draft day. Anyways #1 pick always must be a no brainer with no chance of fail. Doesnt matter which position, because you can build around a Calvin, Andre, Adrian, Cj2k, Rice, Rogers. I would be more concerned about the later rounds where you find value and more chances to F'up if you dont pay attention.
  3. Rice! Especially without a doubt if Leach goes there.
  4. Too difficult to say like what delfam x2 says. Free agency will change a plenty draft boards. Such as Vonta Leach possibly leaving Houston will effect Fosters draft position. Stay pat and see where everyone lands first.
  5. I found the draft very methodical and accurate. I beleive most NFL teams now are on the same page for drafting so not many whoopsies and odd choices. Overall I enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing the kids play
  6. I have the #1 in our dynasty after trading for it, so I cant afford to miss. Either way Jones or Green is a sure talent, but I need to maximize my pick for the better career. I'm swaying to Jones now because of circumstances to where he landed. Also because I have Roddy White whos approaching 30. Jones will be his successor to Matt Ryans #1.
  7. This Turf Smurf reminds me of another guy at a free forum site, which I wont give satisfaction of remembering his name if indeed it is. All he did was annoy and pester with loser comments and he fed on it because of anonymity. Atleast here we have mods to take care of business.
  8. Health benefits is really the huge one here. I think the players realize the importance of it now as to before just wanting higher contracts. It will be an incredible underwriting and possibly both players and owners will need to pay into it. All players will receive a basic benefit and additional benefits will be offered but at a fee that the players decide to have to pay additional for. Kinda like extended warranty. Really the contracts were so escalated as protection against injury, the need to make as much as possible before wrecking my career to injury. Now with the health benefits to compensate incase of injury, the salaries may come down. just my thoughts.
  9. I personally would like to see him to go the colts. Opposite Wayne and Collie with Dallas Clark back, that would be awesome. Since the window is starting to close and Im stressing STARTING. Peyton and Reggie are not getting younger. There is enough backfield to carry the load, with Brown and Addai. It would be the spark that Moss needs not to mention enough veterans to keep him in line for a year or two.
  10. I pick Carolina every week to lose in my survivor next year
  11. Thx everyone for input. So what Im gathering is just start at one position, say LB because they tend to be most sought after point producers. Draft according to that position only and when we open the league to more IDP positions we can open the other positions to be started as well. Or tell everyone we are starting 2LB, 2 CB, 2 DT, 2 DE, 1 S, everone do their homework because not just rookie draft we are also drafting 15 positions IDP
  12. Im just going to put my two cents in, in a fan's perspective. We dont expect championships, we dont expect to always win. What we expect is a compeitive team that can entertain us for an hour and give us our monies worth. Win or lose we stick behind our franchise. I dont give a rats ass if its Tebow or Orton chucking the ball. Im sick of hearing about the franchise quarterback because either one will not win us the superbowl. To win that Penny Laneing trophy means every Penny Laneing star in the hemisphere must be aligned and then you still need a dash more of luck. Im ok as a fan to never win a championship in my liftime. Speaking at the owners, managers, coaches and everyone else involved. Just dont Penny Lane with me and think Im stupid because Im just a fan. I can easily turn the T.V. off as I turn it on and forget the the NFL even exists. I already did it to the NHL.
  13. here is the breakdown of our scoring. Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated. If you have questions as to why we agreed on certain scoring I would be happy to give you our reasoning as our membership agreed on. We agreed that this coming season we will no longer use kickers and eliminate that annoying position completely, and in the future add more IDP and eliminate the defence team as a start as well. Rules For DT, DE, LB, CB, S Fumble Recoveries (from Opponent) 0-10 4 points each Forced Fumbles 0-10 2 points each Interceptions Caught 0-10 4 points each Passes Defensed 0-99 1 point each Defensive Tackles 0-99 1 point each Defensive Assists 0-99 0.5 points each Sacked a QB 0-25 4 points each Safeties 0-10 6 points each Number of Defensive TDs 0-10 6 points each Penalties 1-99 -1 point each Penalty Yards 1-999 -1 point for every 40
  14. Browns and Panthers. Although I dont care much for Detroit either. I have a soft spot for the bills. I guess getting 0 championships @ 4 attempts gotta sting a little.
