  1. I need 20 points and have a kicker left.
  2. Andre is active....but who do you start??
  3. Green Bay got their asses handed to them and proved that they played above their ability in many games this year. The Offense is great, but the D/ST finally blew up in a bad way. SF beat GB early in the year and deserved to beat them again this last time. SF is purely a better team right now. With all the talk of GB being unstoppable and one of greatest...this last letdown should be a wake up call to get an OL and D/ST players that play a "FULL GAME". GB is a good team, but far from elite.
  4. This is exactly what kind of problem GB has had with McCarthy. He doesn't keep his foot on the pedal.
  5. Fair enough.... But, GB is a Professional NFL Team and should have watched enough "season" film to be fooled for both halves of the game.
  6. Well, I was enough in shock after the Broncos choking, that I didn't even think about starting a Packer Game thread. I was more surprised to see that no one else had started one. How can a team like GB go from "Peaking at the Right Time to make a deep run...maybe win it all" to "Being embarrassed on the Road"?? Here goes with my thoughts from the game... The Defense sucked all night and looked quite foolish. (Prime Example...when Clay Matthews got played out of his jock with the fake handoff to Gore and Kapaernick (sp?_) got a 16-17 yard gain around him. (Think Joe Webb with more practice/playing time.) Some comments on NFL.com are calling for Capers to be fired. This can't be blamed solely on Capers, but someone should have made an adjustment. After all, they held AP to 90 yards the week before. Dujuan Harris seems like a decent RB with the desire to play well. Keep him. He played better than A Green and C Benson did earlier in the year. GB should find a way to keep Jennings. He was one of the WR leaders on GB last night. (He should have caught the one that went off his finger tips.) Just think of the problems a 4 WR set (Cobb, Jennings, Jones, Nelson) could cause if they used it more. **They would need to find an O-Line though. Find some O-Line players that can block and make it through an entire game. Give AR time to play and he'll do his job. (The pick in the first half did look very Favre-like.) They should have let Driver play more considering it's probably his last year in GB. He made some great catches weeks ago when playing and others were injured. What could it hurt? S.F. came to play and GB thought they'd walk through with their Offense. If you score 31 in the NFL, you should win....but not when your D and ST (muffed Punt/Kickoff Returns) get burned horribly all night long. Green Bay was outplayed by a better team. They will have a chance to do better next year, but need to make it further to be elite.
  7. Why the Jets have kept Ryan is a frigging joke!
  8. On the field it is not warranted, but in a bar fight chives yes...kick in the balls, gauge eyes, stomp on a knee...it is all legal. You do not fight to make friends you immobilize the sSOB in your face until he cannot move or you are unable to move.
  9. I'm the Commish in a Sportsline League and it won't mess things up as far as I've checked. It may be just let it go, but a few teams would have had some wins if these TD's were allowed. Other teams missed out on Weekly High Score too ($5 per win).
  10. It was just discovered that Sportsline is not scoring our Special Teams TD's for Kickoff Returns or Punt Returns. We are however getting the TD's for Int/Fumble Returns. We have always been alloted these TD's in the past, but something got messed up with Sportsline this year since our Commish used the ST spot to put our Draft Picks in so they can be traded on the Sportsline site (We are a dynasty league. Keep 9 and draft 9 each year.) I know in one league I'm the Commish of we have a D/ST as one entity and the scoring is okay. Our Commissioner was asked to change the scoring to "retro" the scoring to put these in for all teams this season. He has refused saying that any changes to the the system will reset the schedule, etc. and will not be fair to the league since everyone was at a disadvantage with it. A few owners have voiced that it is just as unfair to not put these points on for the teams who deserve them. There are also a few teams who drafted the Vikings and Bears among teams just for their return TD's. What are your thoughts? Should the Commissioner change it now? Should it be left alone until next year? Any feedback would be appreciate, as I'm going to share it with our league.

  13. It would help to see your team. But, I think Welker is odd man out with the two great TE's and resurgence of the running game. Nicks is the clear-cut #2 and great upside.
  14. Would you do this? Starting Lineup = 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 ST/D, 3 Util. (Combo of RB,WR,TE but no More than 3 RB's) 1 PPR 6 Pts. Rush/Rec. TD 1 pt. 10 yards Rush/Rec. I'd be getting Gore, Alfred Morris for D. Thomas and anyone. I could possibly have him add Miles Austin for him as well. He has Manning and wants D. Thomas. My roster: QB - Matt Ryan, Tebow RB - DeAngelo Williams, Mike Tolbert, Jacquiz Rodgers, J. Dwyer, Taiwan Jones, R. Turbin WR - Torry Smith, AJ Green, Victor Cruz, Austin Collie, Danarius Thomas, Greg Salas, G. Tate, Ty Hilton TE - Tony Gonzolez, Scott Chandler
