Frank Gore would probably be the #1 fantasy RB if he would ever get a carry inside the 5. He got them last week vs Tennessee but that's the only game of the year he's getting goalline looks. He's been robbed of at least 6 TD because Hunter, Dixon, now Miller are getting the carries or Kaepernick is passing.

the emergence of Julius Thomas and also Moreno surprisingly being a big part of the offense to go along with sharing with Welker and Decker.....there's just too many weapons in Denver. That's it. Thomas will have some monster games and then some 40-60 yd quiet ones. Too bad he's not on New England or San Francisco.

I don't have any numbers in front of me but it fees like Atlanta is running the ball a lot more inside the 10 and the 5. Earlier in the season, they seemed to be passing often on first down (even at the 1 yard line) Is Koetter calling more running plays in the red zone?

Given Atlanta's struggles in the playoffs in the Matt Ryan era, I don't see them resting the players too much. Maybe they'll play only 1 half or so in week 17 but nothing before that. They're not gonna wanna be rusty in the playoffs, especially considering they're almost for sure gonna get that first round bye. I believe Aaron Rodgers commented in the pre-season about how it was a mistake for them to have rested up for the playoffs as the came into the Giants game really flat.

Has this ever happened in any of your leagues? I have a chance to be the top scoring team in mine, currently second in total points but within striking distance of #1. however, if I don't win next week, I'm outta the playoffs.

In NE's 2007 16-0 season, they were favored by 24 vs Philadelphia. It was a close game iirc. Also way back around '94 when SF was the best and Cincy was awful, the niners were 23 point favorites (they didn't cover).

I don't think Chi is using Forte very effectively. He can and should be full-time feature back. Yes he's capable of getting carries inside the 10. Further, he has been non-existent as a receiver this year which is one of his main strengths. Only 15 carries yesterday against a bad Carolina defense. I didn't see the game tho.
