  1. I've set up a verbal agreement for a trade and what to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I'm trading A. Rodgers and L. McCoy for Kurt Warner and Jason Witten I like Warners schedule down the stretch and I'm hoping Witten rebounds late in the year. . . the other guy has westbrook Good trade or is Rodgers too good to give up -rodgers is the high scorer in my league ___________________________________ qb a. rodgers t.e j. carlson tomlinson r. moss calvin addai L. McCoy
  2. I'm not sure I'd bench either of them. I like calvin johnson and expect the lions to go down early and be in comeback mode for most of the game. Now that he - calvin - is reasonably healthy I would play him. The talent level is off the charts, he's gonna get his chances, and the vikings are gonna be missing their best cover corner. even w min coming off a bye- I would start calvin my question is why start ryan grant above lynch. has grant really been that great this year. if you check out the 6 pack it points out that dallas has been playing pretty solid def recently. lynch hasn't given you much this year but everybody runs on ten. if you can't play lynch this week i'm not sure who you would use him against. to answer your question. i wouldn't bench calvin cause he's too good and he's gonna get his chances. i would really think about who is going to put up better numbers this week between grant and lynch. i would use lynch. good luck
  3. anybody? I can't be the only guy stuck with LT> What have other people gotten for him. What would you give up for him?
  4. just cause it happened 2 weeks in a row doesn't mean that it should keep happening. if you take the league average and award it to a ghost team someones gonna go nuts. the guy has to have a lineup in. whatever happens before that is what it is. people who play him and lose can complain but, if they lose, they are losing to his team. not some made up average. situation sucks
  5. i'd go with rice. the ravens seem to be leaning on him a little more each week and given the carries he always seems to deliver. benson is good but didn't benson crack the ravens streak consecutive games keeping a rb under 100 yds. i bet they remember that. i don't see it happening again. either way its a nice problem to have no real wrong answers here
  6. schaub has killed me in the past with injuries. peyton isn't just better. you don't gotta worry about him.
  7. i'm not sure anyofem are "better" then garrard but if you want upside- sad to say - i'd prolly say smith. they're a run first team cause for the past few years they haven't had anything else. this season v davis is stepping up, crabtree looks good out of the gate, and every once in a while morgan posts a good game. if smith's arm is back then maybe he'll do something later in the year. of the guys you named that's who i'd go with.
  8. i'm not sure you got a choice. i think johnson is the better player but you got nothing at rb. i would make the trade. if not your just gonna hemorrhage points at the 2nd rb position for the rest of the year. . . .
  9. word coming out is that houston is gonna use 3 rb. i'm not sure i would try to get slaton at all but if you think he can win back the job offer this guy mccoy and see if he comes back with a counter offer. most slaton owners are trying to jump ship but can't. lowball him and see what he comes back with. . . . i bet he works with you to get something done
  10. I love the skins but their off line is in tatters (we're prolly trotting out levi jones next week) portis has been hurt all year with bone spurs and the rest of the schedule is brutal. With that said I would still drop Maroney to pick him up. Maroney has killed me in the past and I gotta assume that sooner or later Sammy Morris and Fragile Freddy are coming back. Its not like Maroney has done that much anyway - just take the london game. - portis isn't going to put up all world numbers but even with all the problems he is still just 28. He's the primary ballcarrier ( including 90% gl touches), and he's had a week to heal from his injuries. The question I would ask if I were you is if you think anyone better is gonna come along on waivers at this point of the season. . . . - and I wouldn't drop greene. the guy is an injury away from lighting the league on fire
  11. Having Stewart and Williams is a good handcuff to have but i'm 50/50 on the trade. Your team overall will be better - if you're get welker too - but keep in mind that car goes to NE (week 14), plays Min at home, then goes to NY for the Giants in week 16. These trades will get you to the playoffs. I just don't know if they'll win you a championship. -If this is a dumb idea tell me but how about S. Jax? He's got around the same amount of points but he plays Ten, Hou, and Arz 14-17. You lose your handcuff but w/ two productive backs those can kinda be a pain anyway.
  12. I would stick with Addai- he's getting the goal line carries for the 2nd best off in the league and - for whatever reason- doesn't look like he's gonna lose his job to brown this year. Not to mention Addai is 3rd in receptions for RB this year and Bradshaw is stealing a lot of carries from Jacobs. Including gl carries this past week
  13. I wanna get rid of LT but I'm not sure who to target. Is R. Brown or Westbrook about right or am I trying to get too much? I'm starting to talk myself into D. Hester as a trade option? I can use the help. Please. . . .Any suggestions? __________________ 12 team PPR league.
