  1. DBs are going to flash high week to week as the top scorers, but linebackers will be more consistent as a whole. DL can be nearly ignored in this format (for the reason given above with DE=TE and Watt=Gronk).

Quin, Barr, RJones and the 2 LBs you got already are probably the short list. I would cycle through guys pretty often with only needing 2.

  2. Kuechly didn't see the field very much on subpackages whatsoever.

Beason never left the field much at all and Anderson looks like the guy who is getting most of work in nickel beside Beason.

    Davis subbed in periodically.

Ya, this is going to be a problem. I like the kid a lot as a player, but if he's going to come out that often against Tampa, I can only imagine vs NO and ATL passing attacks..

  3. Well consider this...if Palmer and his 11.5 million do show up to the Bengals, and that would put them over the cap by a decent amount, does Mike Brown either:

1.) Cut several players with decent-sized contracts, players that by now are probably vital to the team and would severely hurt the team if they got axed.

    or

2.) Trade Palmer, get a draft pick in return, and move on and try to actually make the Bengals something more than the laughingstock of the NFL.

He could and might go #1 if Palmer returns but Brown would get absolutely torched by the media for telling Palmer that he won't trade him because "they signed a contract together" and that he has to value that contract till it is over, while he cuts severl players who are under contract. Very hypocritical.
