  1. DUDE STAY AWAY... Coach Mike Shanahan revealed Friday that he has informed Donovan McNabb that there is "no guarantee" McNabb will be a Redskin in 2011. "It's obvious that Donovan McNabb will not be in Washington beyond this season," confirms ESPN's Adam Schefter. "The Washington Redskins' marriage with Donovan McNabb is over. It's over." Shanahan says he'll be "honest" with McNabb, which indicates that the Skins won't hold the 34-year-old quarterback hostage all offseason. Look for McNabb's $10 million option bonus to be declined before late February. He'll become a free agent. Dec. 17 - 1:08 pm et
  2. It's confirmed that Grossman will be starting over McNabb so I would rule out starting Armstrong.
  3. If they allow it, do it. For some reason the commish in my league set the line up weird where I can start a WR in place of a TE but we always thought you HAD to start a TE. I made a mistake with my lineup one day and it allowed me to have a WR in place of TE. So I had 5 WR's going ever since and no one else seemed to realize this so I took advantage of it. You should do the same.
  4. I had the same problem and I started Vick everytime he was announced the starter. I think there was only 1 maybe 2 times where Brady outscored Vick but it didn't make a difference. I lost last week by 4pts and it was to get into the championship game but I can assure you that if I was still alive I'd be starting Vick. He's a beast and playing a rival team. He's going to want to put on a show and get that fat paycheck. Yes, Brady is hot right now but Vick is just so dirty. If he can't make a play by throwing it, he will make one running it. He's a win, win. BOL with w/e you decide.
  5. You know what's funny. In my other league (the last one I'm alive in) I was trying to convince my partner to drop Vjax for DX b/c he was just sitting on our bench and not playing. I didn't think we'd see him until week 15 the earliest and I thought that was a stretch. We started Vjax tonight and he hasn't stopped harassing me for saying we should drop Vjax for DX hahaha. But I was the one who suggested we start him this week so I somewhat redeemed myself...well just a little bit.
  6. 'Cause I'm D.M.C., I'm dynamite D.M.C and I'll win the fight D.M.C I'm a power load D.M.C watch me explode This man should not be benched and especially against that mess of a team Denver who is actually considering starting Tebow. Can you say 3 and out?
  7. PPR I'd say Gibson all the way. But gun to my head I'd roll with Benn. Your super sleeper could have potential but as you and I both experienced (DX) was supposed to be our super sleeper and unfortunately he didn't pull through. Good Luck my man.
  8. Tough choice here. Benson has never scored a TD against the Browns in his career and in 08 ran for 171 yards. In the week 4 meeting he only ran for 60 yards which is 3pts in my league (20 yards per point). The Browns seem better at stopping the run and honestly at this point do either of these teams care? I feel like the Browns will actually show up for this game and I'm not so sure I can say the same for Cinci. I don't know. Blount has had his fumble issues and should've had a big game against the Redskins and he didn't which really screwed me. He now faces the 22nd ranked defense who gives up 122.7 yards a game, 4.5 yards a carry, and have allowed 15 rushing TDs (4th most in the league). In standard CBS scoring (this is what they say) they give up an average of 21.2 fantasy pts per game (5th most in the league). Lloyd faces a pretty scrappy Raiders team which actually has a great pass defense. He was held to 1 catch last game when he faced Aso and with the whole Orton being banged up and rumors of Tebow starting I'm worried about starting Lloyd and especially since he hasn't been that productive since Orton has started to fall apart. I'm still sick to my stomach over the Zona game b/c if Lloyd had just a few more catches I would've been in the championship game b/c I lost by only 4 pts (sjax fumble and blount fumble lost me 4pts) but Lloyd should've had a monster game against that atrocious Zona secondary. Ughhh I can't even talk about it. Anyway, it seems all signs are pointing to Blount but is he the best choice? I don't think he's been getting as many goal line looks either which has me concerned. I was in 3 leagues and this is my last one. I win this week and I'm in the championship so this is extremely important. I'm off to a strong start with Vjax and Tolbert tonight so I need to keep it going and pick the right players. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  9. Yeah, I've been burned by the Saints quite often. I can never get a good read on this team. You just never know who is going to show up. I think I'm gunna go with the Browns and hope that the rain causes some problems for Buffalo and that Hillis just eats up that clock.
  10. Last vote went to the Saints and I was actually laughed at for posing the question...well I'm in the same dilemma again and I'm not sure who to go with. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Thanks for blocking Wayne's TD you f'n clown shoe...what a POS. I'm sure it helped some people but seriously Yellow Submarine.
  12. Obomanu hasn't really done anything when he plays? You're joking right?
  13. I'm leaning heavily towards DX. I'm already using him in 2 of my leagues might as well go for the trifecta.
  14. My other options aren't as pretty but here they are: Ben Obomanu (He saved me last game but I'm still a little skeptical about the Panthers secondary being ranked 7th against the pass...should I be concerned?) Danario Alexander (Love his upside and against a pathetic Zona secondary this could be a great opportunity for him to have a big game) Donald Brown (He may put up some numbers but Peyton has been in such a slump I feel he's going to want to unleash hell on this Dallas team) Shonn Greene (I like Greene's chances but I don't know if I can roll with him just yet) Blount (Atlanta is a tough matchup and he didn't do that well in the earlier meeting) Mike Williams (SEA) (Most likely out) Out of these guys who do you think?
