  1. So, one of the managers who refused to trade with me was up by less than one point after last night. Then she started Washington's defense. Then I laughed.
  2. I wouldn't say Gates is a lock, yet. TEs are a tough sell. He's a great player though, obviously. I think Jason Taylor should make it. ^Yeah, Ray-Ray too.
  3. Your team's awesome. I'd be going for a QB and a TE before WR though. You're great with Johnson, Johnson, and Austin. Anyway, in my opinion, Foster and McFadden should definitely stay. Run DMC is going to be your championship MVP. He plays Denver and Indy in weeks 15 and 16 and they both have horrible run defenses. Between Hillis and Rice, I'd go with Hillis at this point because Rice loses too many touches. I'd be trying to unload Best ASAP.
  4. It's actually a private Yahoo league full of people I know.
  5. Someone in my league offered me Heath Miller for Marcedes Lewis and said "If you want to trade, you should take what's offered to you and stop whining!" ._. I think I need a new league... and new friends.
  6. Team A gets Frank Gore and Team B gets Andre Johnson, Mike Wallace, and Marcedes Lewis. Does this trade heavily favor one side? Thanks in advance. PS It's a PPR league (0.5 PPR)
  7. lolwut? The Giants, sure. They're playing good football, and they're as good as any team in the NFC right now. But the Jets? Come on, man. They got shut out by Green Bay and barely beat the Lions. I'd like to think the Eagles have a chance. Who knows, maybe all the detractors were right and McNabb was what was holding us back? In the NFC, I think it comes down to the best defenses in the NFL, the Steelers and the Titans. I'd LOVE for the Eagles to beat the Steelers. Man I can't stand the Steelers or their fans. Eagles/Titans rematch would be interesting, too.
  8. What kind of league are you in where you walk away from the draft with AP, Ray Rice, Michael Turner, and Andre Johnson?
  9. Oh boohoo. I played Peyton Manning's owner on his bye week. Her backup? Carson Palmer. You know who my starting QB was? Tony Romo. Do you know what Carson Palmer did that week? 412 yards and 3 TDs. Do you know what Tony Romo did that week? He broke his freaking clavicle. I lost by 7 points.
  10. Alright, I wasn't sure if he signed a one year extension or just re-worked his deal for more salary this year. I mean, since he's signed through 2011, I could see Andy Reid hanging onto him for another year just because he can. He's a sick, sick man.
  11. Nah, his confidence isn't shot. If anything he's just more fired up to play. Also, the NFL trade deadline is past so he isn't going anywhere this season.
  12. I'm pretty sure Kolb's contract is up at the end of this year. We'll have to see what happens with the collective bargaining agreement before we'll know what happens to Kolb. If franchise tags are back in 2011, then that's what they'll do (assuming they don't have to use it on Vick). If not, they'll let him go to another team free and clear and take the compensatory pick, which would likely be the highest one you can get (3rd round). I'm sure they'd love to re-sign him but this isn't Madden. That dude has been waiting around for a chance to start for four years, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's a bit resentful of the situation. He's been a total pro about it so far, being very gracious and saying all the right things. I just don't buy that it doesn't bother him deep inside.
  13. I traded for DeAngelo two weeks ago hoping he'd be back for this week but it looks like he's out again. Lame.
  14. Also, getting Marcedes Lewis thrown in is another joke. I'm sure the guy getting him has a garbage TE. I hope you didn't spend any money in that league :/ But seriously, that's a BS trade. Rodgers is the only good player given up. The other three guys are waiver fodder or borderline flex plays.
