  1. Thanks Tally. Here is what I have found for CBS league... anyone can choose any player under the salary cap. So, we could essentially have the same team without knowing it. Once players are eliminated, they're gone. Can have 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST. Best choice is to find players that you think will stick around for the long haul. I picked Drew Brees and Marques Colsten for that reason. My other picks are to stay under the salary cap, but are good choices, IMO: QB: Drew Brees RB: Ahmad Bradshaw, Isaac Redman WR: Marques Colston, Antonio Brown TE: Aaron Hernandez K: Mason Crosby DST: Packers I know, I know... I have the Packers Dee... and they suck. We will see.... I know (because I live here) that they are working hard on DST. May help. Plus they do get turnovers and possible DST TD's.
  2. I'm really not sure (although I meant to put 'CBS Playoff Challenge'). I have never played either before.
  3. I am on CBS playoff strategy with some buddies... but was wondering, what is the best strategy? I assume I try to pick players that will play ALL games, no BYES...but will also make it to the superbowl.. so that they play the maximum amount of time. Example: I had Rogers all season, but the Pack has a first round BYE, so that would loose me 30 points (if I look at his approx average). So, then, wouldn't I be better off with a QB I think would go to the SB, but doesn't have a BYE? I have a lot of logic like that, though, that breaks down when I overthink it
  4. Thanks everyone... I'll go Bengals over Seahawks DST then
  5. I have a similar decision... Wells or Felix. Tough call, but I am thinking Romo is going to pass a ton this week lowering Jones value... and Wells will have a big week (I hope) against Cleveland. I'm going Wells, but watching the health of both closely.
  6. I have Greene and Wells in... Greene is against a fairly week running defense and Wells is against a horrible defense. Could be a huge week! I'm sitting Felix Jones and Darren Sproles.
  7. ok, I got Beanie Wells and Shonn Greene now. I think I am happy with that A LOT of Felix Jones talk out there, though, but Beanie against a crappy rush defense seems like a solid.
  8. I already have Shonn Greene playing and after his last few weeks, he is a must start against Philly. I need one of these 3 in a NON-PPR league: * Darren Sproles - No Ingram, against MN * Beanie Wells - Against CLE * Felix Jones - No Murray, against TB I won't give my current thoughts ... I prefer yours unbiased at this point
  9. Seattle's had a good run the last 2 weeks though... and against STL, CLE, and even NYG put up great fantasy points on the road.... Cincy, however, has been VERY shaky as of late. Very few good fantasy weeks since the beginning of the season. That's why I'm so worried Fantasy Sports analysts seem excited about Cincy... but that's only because they are playing STL.
  10. This is a tough one for me... St Louis has zero offense, so I could see the Bengals doing very well. However, Seahawks are playing Chicago. Seahawks are ranked higher on CBSSports Fantasy and I have them in for the moment, but I am very shaky on it.
  11. Dalton for QB (b/c of St. Louis), Smith (gotta), Blount.
  12. He's a top receiver, Romo is throwing well again and Laurent is his first look, and they are playing TB ... and even with Jennings out, Rogers has tons of targets (Nelson, Driver, Jones, Cobb (who, I am guessing will replace Jennings), Finley) . Besides that, GB will take an early lead, bench rogers, and Flynn will be told to ground and pound. All pure speculation **Edit: I am not saying Jordy isn't a good choice, BTW. Just saying that it can be hit or miss this late in the season and I am not sure he will be MORE of a target with Jennings out since Cobb will be in, Jones is active, and Finley could play huge. Laurent, however, will play all game with his QB and possibly have more opportunities than Jordy as a result.
  13. Foster and Helu here as well. Johnson and Robinson would be my picks for WR
