I'd make that trade. You don't need Knowshon for a bye filler, unless you can start 3 RBs, and Demaryius is a better start than Jackson, plus AJ still has a bye in week 12.

I would make that trade. Harvin may be out for another week or two and still has his bye coming up. Plus, he hasn't played for almost a year now, so it will take him a while to get back to true form. I would take AJ over him for the rest of the season. As for the TEs, I also think Cameron is a slight upgrade over Davis for the rest of the season. You need a TE not on a bye this week, plus SF is getting two of their top WRs back over the next couple of weeks, thus cutting into Davis's numbers. Do the trade, and keep your push to the playoffs rolling.

I had Peyton and Bradford as my QBs coming out of the draft (Peyton in the fifth was just too tempting for me). After losng my first two weeks, i traded Fred Jackson for Ryan and Pettigrew (TE). I've gone 10-1 since. With Freddy going to IR, I'm very happy with the move. I'm locked in as the #1 or #2 seed for the playoffs and will keep Ryan in my lineup throughout.

If you are hurting at WR, I'd make this trade and grab Painter. However, Roddy isn't performing up to expectations, so if you have some decent WRs, I'd stick with Newton.

Unless Chis returns to form soon, Team 2 is getting hosed. Ocho is dead weight in this trade.

I just don't see the upside for you. If you'd rather have an RB in the Flex spot, use Ingram. Don't reduce your WR scoring (which could be HUGH with Jackson) just to get another time sharing RB.

ETA: You are looking at picking up Megatron or Rodgers vs Nicks or Austin while trading the shot at Witten and taking either Finley or Gates (according to the Huddle's top 200) So, to answer your question, depending on the expertise of the league, yes, the 5th can easily be just as valuable as the 6th in a 10 team league.

Without knowing lineup reqs and the rest of your roster, it's hard to say if this is good or bad for you. Straight up though, I think it's a fair trade, with the advantage going slightly to the Foster side. I don't see Foster repeating last season and could actually be a one-hit wonder (though I personally think he will stay in the top 10). However, Gore can easily be top 3 if he stays healthy as his O-line will only get better, but the stayin healthy part is scary so I put Foster just slightly ahead of Gore. Marshall is a better bet than BMW, but not by a hugh margin. The 2.02 pick may make the difference even greater depending on the size of the league.

Lineup requirements make a big difference in this trade. Do you have to start a TE? If so, I wouldn't make the trade. If Witten counts as a WR in your lineup, then I'd do it. I'd rather have Maclin over any of the new WRs, and Sanchez over Fitzpatrick (due to his team).

I'd take the trade. I would gladly give the 1.4 for Mendenhall, and the other players will never see your lineup anyway. Neither jacobs or Hightower are #1s and Mendenhall could possibly replace SJax in your lineup. You can counter if you like, if you think they will go for it, but I think the trade is fair as it is, if not a little tipped in your favor.
