  1. Well the after first year I thought it was just a mistake. He turned the league on for the new year last second, so thought maybe he was rushing and messed it up. The after the second year I was like, ok, he is just messing with things. Then when I saw his team I knew he was. You can't quite after the draft and I wasn't abandoning my team and letting someone else play my name. So I figured, I'd play the year out and quit, Then I was so happy when I beat him despite all his cheating. But little did I know he was just getting started. Now he has locked me out of everything (good thing as I would have changed the team name to RyanSucks, lol),
  2. Well for me, I guess I'm still a bit of a noob then, lol. I played my first time 4 years ago in a Standard NFL Fantasy league. Actualy 2, one by mistake, but that is a different story. I won one league and placed 2nd in the other. It was cool, but then the next year I didn't like the idea of having to start over, so I joined two keeper leagues. The one I mentioned here where the jerk cheats and another where the owner is cool, actually fun to compete against. I have been playing with the idea of a cash league, actually the cool owner runs a few leagues, some free, some cash.
  3. I didn't create the league, maybe I wrote that wrong? I joined the league Gridironkings 3 years ago.
  4. I was just rambling about this owner who is changing the playoffs so he can win. Just in case anyone is looking for a league and comes across his, to stay away. Maybe someone knows him and now knows he is full of manure when he says he wins every year. Venting, getting it off my chest, moving on.
  5. The funny thing, is I'm more laughing at this fool then mad, I am mad, but now it's becoming a little amusing and I'm starting to pitying him.
  6. Thank you for contacting NFL.com Customer Support. League Managers have the ability to edit rules, rosters, scoring, team locks, and a host of other settings for their leagues. Most of the time this power is not abused, but sometimes it is. We recommend that users only join Custom Leagues with League Managers they trust, because the NFL must be 100% "hands-off" when it comes to our Custom Leagues. It is up to the League Manager and the individual team owners to police the content, communication, and activity in the leagues in which they participate. NFL.com is not liable for any communication, activity, or fair-play issues amongst the individual users in Custom Leagues. Here is the FAQ that addresses this issue. 7. I started the league Gridironkings 3 years ago (http://fantasy.nfl.com/league/984825). After the first year Ryan (Owner ryanthompson99) wiped my keepers, did offline draft and gave me sub par team. I finished 2nd through expert waiver wire transfers. After 2nd year Ryan wiped my keepers and gave me below par team through offline draft. My starting quarterback was Matt Cassel, who is a 2nd stringer. While Ryan had Aaron Rogers, Cam Newton, and Tony Romo? Again I used waiver wire. I beat him for the championship. I had 132.9 points on Sunday night after the last game and Monday afternoon as I was checking for my 1st place trophy. I wake up this morning to 2nd place? Ryan changed my line up last night so he could win. Ryan took Carson Wenz out of my line up and put in Dak Prescott who I knew wasn't going to play much as they clinched. Ryan also removed Landon Collins to my bench also. Today I have 111.18? How sad a life do you have to have, to cheat at Fantasy football? So I sent a message to the league and this was his response: Rockstars Ryan updated playoff teams 23 hours ago via League Manager Rockstars Ryan updated playoff teams 23 hours ago via League Manager Rockstars Ryan updated playoff teams 23 hours ago via League Manager Rockstars Ryan updated playoff teams 23 hours ago via League Manager Congratulations to Gamecock for earning the 2016 Second Place in Gridironkings League. 8. Actually that is the sad part this team doesn't suck, they just play like crap. That is the good thing I take out of Cleveland we finally found a way to win, rather then the season's trend of finding ways to lose. Ugly win but more important we didn't fold down the stretch.
  9. Say it ain't so. I started off with Matt Forte and Chris Johnson with Willis McGahee as my back up. Well through Johnson's bad start Willis really pulled me through then the last few weeks since Johnson heated up that was a nice 1,2,3 punch! OK done whining, lets get down to business. I'm not sure whether to pick up Ronnie Hillman or Felix Jones (at least till Murry gets back then he would probably be out the door).
  10. Doesn't sound crazy at all. I have to ask myself the same question every week whether to sit or start Fitzgerald. Not because of him but because of his QB's.
  11. I think AP as of today is automatic. He is ranked #2 in fantasy points in my league for the year. He has the potential to blow out any game, of course nothing is guaranteed. But with a stud like that you have to let him run. The only team they got that might scare you and lead to playing a match up is the Bears they still got 2x's. Not to say the Texans or Seattle have slouch defenses but I looked and I can't imagine both Gore and Martin being favored over AP during the same week. I think AP always beats out one or the other. I really think you need to look at Gore and Martin week to week for match ups. I would never say don't look at a good trade but I have Martin as one of my three backs and he has done alright for me. I think your three is better then my three by the addition of AP.
  12. This is who I got: Dwayne Bowe Malcom Floyd Steve Smith Mike Williams This is the top 5 on the waiver wire: Andre Roberts Josh Gordon Jeremy Kerley Lance Moore Santana Moss I've been playing Bowe's match ups pretty well. He's here because my third back (Willis Mcgahee) looks better as W/R then he does this week and maybe weeks to come. I hate to give up on Smith as he can put up numbers but just hasn't. So I could sit pat with Bowe and Smith. Maybe get rid of Malcom and/or Williams. I'm not sold on anyone in the list of potentials. The cards and Jets are so unpredictable. The saints put up a lot of passing yards but spread it around. I don't know enough about Josh either. Just curious what ya'll think.
  13. This is who I got: Anquan Boldin Brian Hartline Jeremy Maclin This is the top 4 on the waiver wire: Josh Gordon Jeremy Kerley Santana Moss Danny Amendola I'm thinking of sitting pat on Hartline and Maclin they have some potential upside. But Boldin has just not ever been much of an option. He had a couple good weeks but as of late he's been a bit of a dud. My main receivers are good, not great, so having a bench that could lead to some match ups would be ideal. I'm thinking Josh Gordon or Danny Amendola. Just curious what ya'll think.
  14. Marshell use to be a headache, he has been pretty good in that regards this year. He seems to have his head together which he attributed to a personality disorder not a personality flaw. So far his treatment seems to be working. You can't fix bad, but you might fix crazy (I'm not trying to say that in a bad way). So I think if you look at his past potential and his work this year its all up sides with him. I like the WR your offering. Given Green and Cruz rank so much higher then Maclin and Brown. You might have to give up Brown, he ranks higher then Maclin. You might try the haggle approach. As Maclin is less desirable then Brown. Offer up Maclin first and settle for Brown, make him think you caved a little. Your giving him the better TE and getting the better WR. Seems fair to me but you have to make him see that.
  15. Close to the same choice I had as a bye week replacement. Maclin, Hartline, or Boldin. I ended up going with Maclin too. I guess I won't be the only one in this boat come Sunday.
  16. He is obviously thinking the same thing otherwise he wouldn't be trying to dump Owens for Gronk. I picked up Owens this week because my starter has a bye and I had Ryan Williams go on IR so it was a no brainer for me. I think Gronk if he plays to potential given his QB is Brady is more valuable.
  17. I'm sitting on the fence here. I'm thinking of trading the Packers Def for either Seattle or Minnesota. I'm leaning towards Minnesota. The next few weeks I think Minnesota has the easier schedule but it gets brutal for them closing out the year. Unless I try to pick up Seatle or the packers back at the end if either is still out there? Seatle actually looks to have the worst schedule of the three that is why I'm not leaning towards them. Packers just are not yielding a lot of fantasy points ranked middle of the league.
  18. Well I held onto Trent and glad I did and wasn't rash he is my best runner at the moment. Ridley has payed off. Jury is still out on Marthing the one I was most sure of, shown some flashes if he doesn't show some more I might try a late season trade. Roy got hurt so that decision was made for me. I ended up trading him for Ryan Williams which I figured as my 4th back wasn't a bad gamble, that didn't pan out but I did trade him when he got hurt for TE Owen Danials to cover my bye week. All in all I think I've done pretty good in my trade decisions.
  19. RB Trent Richardson RB Doug Martin BN Roy Helu RB BN Isaac Redman RB So I just proposed to add Stevan Ridley RB - NE for Isaac Redman which I know will shore up a week running game. Now there still is Alfred Morris RB - WAS and Michael Bush RB - CHI sitting out there. I'm thinking of droping maybe Trent Richardson I don't have a lot of faith in Cleveland or maybe even Roy Helu. Think I'm bolting on the rookies too soon or should I cut bait?
  20. No one on waivers yet. The top 4 RB still available to swap out for are: Mike Tolbert RB - CAR Pierre Thomas RB - NO Brandon Jacobs RB - SF Ryan Grant RB - GB
  21. That is a bit of a tough one. Atlanta is ranked as a mid tier defense with both the Giants and Packers ranked higher. The Giants have a good D but the Giants usually start off slow and can be a bit unpredictable. In the long run and late in the year they should be a better pick. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1301544-ranking-the-top-15-fantasy-football-defenses/page/9 Green Bay is ranked high, but they scare me. I accidently joined two leagues this year (only meant to join one). The one I accidently joined without knowing auto drafted for me and I ended up with the Packers. I've been entertaining the idea of trying to trade them myself. Looking at the shedules Green Bay has a more brutal schedule in the begining so I don't think you see a pay off till second half of the year. Given this scenario you could play Atlanta and see how they do and how Green Bay shapes up. Maybe do a middle of the year switch? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1301544-ranking-the-top-15-fantasy-football-defenses/page/6
  22. I think that is because GB defense looks better statistically then they actually play. Their offense scores so many points it forces other teams to throw more then they would and they have been opportunistic with turn overs. They don't get after the QB and the run like the truely good defenses. Look at what happened against the Giants. Their offense didn't give them a big lead to sit on and they couldn't hold back the giants offense. When you look at the good defenses like the Ravens or the Bears, the defense can win a game. Green Bays defense is good in the sense that they don't loose the game and they have some talent don't get me wrong. Their good but not as good as they look on paper.
  23. Yeah that is what had me a little worried, not to mention their teams are a little unpredictable. But if this team which was all the luck of the draw looks good I feel real good about the other team I drafted. I think my other team could take this one in a heart beat. But I'm still wondering about having a second defense?
  24. I was trying to sign up for Fantasy Football first time (OK I wanted the NFL Fan points), but I wasn't entering lightly. I didn't want to get my ass beat up every week because I was a noob. So I quite the sign up to research a little on drafting so I would be prepared. I came back in a couple days prepared, having come with a draft strategy and running a few mock drafts. I set my draft day days in advance to give time to prepare myself. I went in today to draft and to my suprise I have two Fantasy teams. The one I drafted today and I think I did pretty well for my first draft and the original one I quite out of. This one had a Friday draft and because I didn't know it went through I wasn't there. Here is the team I'm stuck with that was picked for me. QB Aaron Rodgers RB Trent Richardson RB Doug Martin WR Demaryius Thomas WR Larry Fitzgerald TE Jimmy Graham WR Marques Colston K Dan Bailey DEF Green Bay Packers BN Jay Cutler QB BN Roy Helu RB BN Isaac Redman RB BN Anquan Boldin WR BN Jeremy Maclin WR BN Titus Young WR I would like to have 2 defenses, especially during the bye week. I'm thinking of adding a defense and dropping someone. I'm wondering if I shouldn't be looking at some of these other guys, there are a lot of question marks on this team. I'm looking at my top 3 RB and they have potential but are not proven, they are also on teams that could do good or go into the tank. I'm just hoping one of those 3 guys does well! WR is also a question mark. I got some depth at WR so I think I can manage a decent group. Fitzgerald is good but doesn't have a good QB. I think Thomas could turn out to be a great pick up if Manning is as good as I hope he is. (Really hope so as he is my QB for my other team, took a chance there, but I think he has the potential to be better than the other guys still on the board. Besides Cutler is my back up so I think I'm good.) Enough of the side bar. My bench WR have a make or bust chance too, but I don't think they will all tank. Maybe I'm just panicing and should sit pat with what I got and ride it out.
