  1. I heard that as well. Wouldn't be terrible, as long as they can reign him in. We don't need a gunslinger. Just a manager with a bit of mobility would be nice. And, who knows... Hill might be that guy. I just haven't seen enough of him to tell. But, given that he's a 5th round rookie, I'm skeptical. Not everybody is going to be Purdy, or more accurately, thrown into Purdy's situation.
  2. Yeah, my "list" was completely off the top of my head, after glancing at salaries for this year. Brissett was listed as making $8M+ but I didn't take into account the proration factor. The guys I listed were all $3M or less. That said, I'm not sure Brissett is any better, but who knows. And, yeah, some may not be available, depending on the situation. For the most part, I considered teams who are out of the playoff hunt (or at least very unlikely to be in the mix).
  3. Interesting question. Personally, not interested in Wentz. He's failed miserably in at least three places now. I'd be surprised if ATL is willing to part with Heinecke, as long as they're in the hunt in the NFC South. Brissett costs too much (and I think his best days are LONG behind him), and McCoy couldn't even make an ARI roster that was largely QB-less to start the season. At first glance, here are a few names that come to mind, all of which have very manageable salaries currently. Andy Dalton CAR - The epitome of wily veteran, and CAR seems set on riding out the season with Young. Brian Hoyer LVR - Another vet who could step in and manage. Might be the odd man out in Vegas with AOC playing well behind Jimmy. Josh Dobbs ARI - Probably a longshot, but Kyler is about to return, and ARI is going to play him the way it sounds. Wouldn't hurt to ask. Mike White MIA - He's been thrown into worse situations in his career, and I like his competitive nature. Case Keenum HOU - Wouldn't that be ironic?
  4. Damn... Just realized I lost this one by less than a point and a half as well. That's two losses by a COMBINED 1.5 points. I knew I was in trouble when Ward ripped that ball away from Addison early.
  5. Such a big week, in both the NFL and FF, for teams that started off slowly. 3-4 is so much different than starting 2-5.
  6. Yeah, I recorded the game, so I didn't look at MFL until it was over. Six points a piece. To be honest, I was so wrapped up in watching the game that I didn't really pay super close attention to either's stats. It certainly felt like Hunter was in on more than just two tackles, but you could very well say the same for Wonnum. The whole defense played great. Good game (both last night and our FF matchup).
  7. I started out 0-3 in the division, clawed my way back to 3-3, and I'm now probably going to lose to the only 0-6 team in the league. Oh well.
  8. Probably a combination of a bad matchup for DET and them possibly overlooking BAL just a bit. Hard to believe that Campbell wouldn't have them ready to go (I doubt he overlooks/underestimates ANYBODY), but they really did look ill prepared yesterday. Speaking to the matchup itself, Campbell is building a team that is all-around tough. Punch them in the mouth, and they'll punch back even harder (or maybe bite your kneecaps off). Well, if there is one team that seems to enjoy getting into a battle of "who is tougher," it's probably BAL. If yesterday's game was a boxing match, it looked like DET got punched right in the nose from the start, and was seeing stars the rest of the contest. They didn't have an answer for anything BAL was doing on either side of the ball. I'm sure DET will bounce back, and I think they're easily top four in the NFC at worst. Not top 2 (or even 3), but they're in the conversation. And, let's be real... All of the other top teams have had losses that were just as surprising at this one. PHI to the Jets, SF to CLE, and DAL to ARI. It happens.
  9. Per Ian Rapoport. Reinforcing that defensive backfield which has had some injuries.
  10. A bunch still in progress for me, starting with the ones that are the closest... Fusion 16-team IDP Dynasty (5-1) - This has been a slugfest. Battling @Trojanmojo, who survived taking a zero from his QB spot (D Jones/Jimmy G), thanks to a huge day from his kicker (Hopkins 22 pts), and his LB trio of Bernard/Franklin/Oluokun (76 pts!). Meanwhile, my BAL connection of L Jackson and M Andrews carried me after watching Bijan do nothing. Now, with the score sitting at 177.10 to 177.05, it comes down to a battle of MIN DE's... My Hunter versus his Wonnum. I like my chances, but you never know. Hunter can disappear at times, and a big play from Wonnum could certainly sway it his way. Should be fun to watch. LLD 14-team Dynasty (3-3) - Down 10, with RB Mattison, WR Jennings, and PK Moody versus RB Mason and WR Addison. Could be close. @Bigheadhal1 HFA 32-team IDP Dynasty (7-2) - Down 5 pts and change, I've got WR Powell and TE Kittle going against DB Charvarius Ward. Might be close. Huddle Elite 16-team Redraft (2-4) - Need 15 from Cousins and Osborn. Should happen, but no guarantee against SF. Local 12-team Keeper (2-4) - I'm up 5 with Hockenson going against Moody. Like my chances, but no guarantee. FDSB 12-team IDP Dynasty (2-4) - Down 12 and change, with Cousins going against Bynum. Not loving the matchup, but I suppose anything is possible. @HarleyKR07 12-team Local Redraft (2-4) - Up 43 going against Mattison and Hockenson. This is old-school no PPR, so I like my chances. Weapons of DMD 16-team Redraft (3-3) - Down 43, with Purdy/Mason/Moody going against Osborn. This one will be tough. Modified scoring for PPR and yardage, but 6 pts for TD passes. Need something out of Mason to have a shot. @boltnlava FFPC 12-team redraft (4-2) - I need 16 from McCaffrey, Hockenson, and Osborn to secure a win. That's almost a given, especially since I have Mason if CMC ends up not playing. That said, I'd really love to get about 50-60 points from the three to stay in the playoff mix. That's certainly doable with full PPR (and 1.5 PPR for TE's). ConFusion 16-team IDP Dynasty (4-2) - I got "Foreman'd" in this one, and need 74 from my defensive trio of DT Harrison Phillips, LB Greenlaw, and S Hufanga to catch up. I've also got LB Burks in case Greenlaw sits, but either way, this is a definite longshot. Not impossible, but all three need to have huge games for it to happen. @dillhole007 DAF 16-team IDP Dynasty (5-1) - Down by 57 with Hockenson going against Fred Warner. Not going to happen. Another one where @dillhole007 kicked my butt, this time with guys I never saw coming. Gus Edwards, AJ Brown, Darren Waller, and CB Kenny Moore combined for 100 pts. Didn't help that DK Metcalf was a last-minute inactive (and I had nobody to fill the spot), but regardless, I got spanked. DW3 14-team IDP Dynasty (4-2) - Down 59 with Cousins against McCaffrey. I'm cooked. @tbone2cool DW2 16-team IDP Dynasty (5-1) - Up 32 with Cousins/Mattison/H Smith versus Warner. Got this one I think. @tbone2cool
  11. Sorry... I'll drop Dyami Brown WAS WR if that's possible. If not, let's drop the MIN defense.
  12. 1 yr please. Start him in place of D Peoples-Jones.
  13. Dropped Laviska Shenault CAR WR.
  14. So-so week for me. Hoping to take at least 4 of these tonight.... ConFusion - 16-team IDP Dynasty (4-1) - Down 58 with Ekeler left. I'm toast. FDSB - 12-team IDP Dynasty (2-3) - Down 20 with Palmer and DE Parsons going against Herbert and LB Kendricks. Longshot. Dynasty Wars III - 14-team IDP Dynasty (4-1) - Up 50 with Lamb and DL Mack vs DB's James and Kearse. Should be good. Weapons of DMD - 16-team Redraft (2-3) - Just need more than 4.5 pts from Palmer and Everett. This is modified PPR (with lower yardage scoring), so it's no guarantee. That said, if they combine to catch 4-40 or more I should be good. I'll be watching this one (and the LAC inactives) closely. A win here would get me back to .500 after just a horrendous 0-3 start. CA Huddle League - 12-team Redraft (5-0) - Up 22 with DAL defense against Pollard. Hopefully safe. Local 12-team Keeper (3-2) - Up 37 vs Lamb and PK Aubrey. Might be close.
  15. I would say this. And, yeah, some sort of mix. A lot of RB's these days are semi-replaceable. Some more than others. Conner is a very underrated back, in my opinion, and won't be easily replaced. Up until an hour ago, it sounded like Demercado was the guy to have. But, Arizona DID just update their depth chart today, moving Ingram ahead of him. What exactly that means, nobody knows. But, it's definitely worth taking note of. Bottom line... I wouldn't drop anyone of significance for either guy. In deeper leagues or leagues where I'm desperate for RB help, however, I'd probably try to grab one or the other (or both). In terms of BB% or whatever, I wouldn't go crazy, but somewhere in the 5% range for Ingram, and maybe just a tad less for Demercado, seems reasonable. If you're super desperate, I'd probably double that.
