  1. Not insane. CEH is worth a late round flyer. I'm taking him as well in the hopes he is the guy to have this year. McKinnon is age 31. CEH is cheap or not drafted at all.
  2. I will assume 1 QB league, unsure of how many teams, with a $230 dollar draft budget. I'm also in an Auction Keeper league, so finding someone in your leagues draft situation is not very common. For me, in a 1 QB league, I would keep Jamar Chase, James Cook, and DeVonta Smith. Those three are your best values and should give you the most money remaining to spend on a top QB, and RB. Chase and Smith would be an outstanding starting point for your receivers. Cook has a lot of hype, and for $6 and he hits, oh boy. You still need to draft a top RB, if one is available of course. And if Cook is just an RB 2 for you, $6 dollars is a great price. 36 players will be kept, and if it's a 12 team league, availability can also skew who you will keep. For the record, I had Justin Fields on my roster at $1 dollar and let him go as well. My league is 1 QB, 12 Teams, PPR, $200 Draft Budget Good luck with your draft!!
  3. I think you're stuck with him being in a Win Now mode. Personally, I would move him ASAP at age 28. Maybe wait till midseason to see if you are a true contender or you can trade him for a pick if you are not. However, maybe he becomes a Jerick McKinnon type player and has a few more years left.
  4. I drafted 12th in a league of 14 team Devy League, SuperFlex. I figured I would be bad initially and draft a QB next year. So I drafted as many WRs in the first 5 rounds, and I picked a top TE in round 2. I drafted my first QB in round 9 or 10, it was Derek Carr. Now I'm just waiting for 2024 and Caleb Williams to get to the NFL. Also, I did make it to the championship game last season with Derek Carr and Davis Mills. My receivers are so stacked, it compensated for my below average QB's.
  5. My league was half PPR, but we changed over to full PPR a few years ago because of TV broadcasts giving fantasy points will full PPR points. True story! So I figured that was standard points and changed out scoring. We are now considering half point per carry to make the RB's have more value. In the playoff league I run, I tried out this scoring option and it gave 4-8 points extra for each RB. With so many RB committees, this is becoming more popular.
  6. Personally, with Garret Wilson if Aaron Rodgers does indeed play for the Jets, you should be able to use him to get a decent QB. How many years will Rodgers play, one, two, three at most? Then who will their QB be after that and how much value does Garret Wilson have at that point? This is a true sell high on a player, IF Rodgers does play for the Jets.
  7. It sounds like you're trying to improve the wrong area of the league. If Draft Night is the best single event of the season, what can you do to make that night better? My league is 16 years old. It is an Auction, Keeper league, and it works for the group. We do an in person draft each year and it is the best night for everyone. I have a couple of owners, who say they take the regular season, sort of serious, but draft night is why they stay in the league and cannot wait for it every year. I do tweak my rules each year, just a few things, and if I don't like it, we adjust it or switch it back. I recently created a Draft Night packet for everyone to take home with them.
  8. Best post of this thread. Thank you for that.
  9. You have all convinced me trading Kamara is not in my best interest, as my Receiving core is embarrassing. I'm sending an offer of Gibson & Claypool for D.Henderson & CeeDee. We shall see if they bite.
  10. I couldn't afford them. I left the auction values out, but I spent a lot on Kamara $70 and Mahomes $35. There is a kicker and defense x2 as well, but not important here. I can bid on AJ Green, E Sanders, Hunter Renfrow, Dalton Schultz (but not TE is required), Dawason Knox, Jalen Reagor. Not much is out there as this is a very competitive league. With 1 RB required to start, we have teams rostering only 2 RBs, and 8 WRs.
  11. 12 Team - 1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 2 Flex - Auction with 2 Keeper League - Current Record: 1-3 Mahomes Kamara, Gibson, Javonte Williams Aiyuk, Claypool, Higgins, Rondale Moore, Ruggs, Van Jeffereson My receivers are young, injured, and inconsistent. The slow start to the season is giving me concerns about being patient and staying the course. If I trade away Alvin Kamara and Claypool and get Darrell Henderson and CeeDee Lamb in return, does that make sense for my team? Or do I wait a couple of weeks for my to three receivers to get healthy?
  12. You're getting Aiyuk in the deal? I'd do that trade. SF uses a committee backfield. Sermon should play this week, Wilson will be back later in the season. Who knows who will be the main ball carrier this week they way Shanahan runs the offense. Aiyuk has a hamstring injury, 3rd week right? I'd guess a slow Week 2, but after four weeks of recovery, you'll be happy.
  13. I have been getting logged out for the last three years. At least once or twice per day. It's worse at the beginning of the fantasy season, then it's hours for me and I have to log back in. Chrome or Edge, but usually Chrome. Also, on any page with 'Data Density' I have to select the smaller option, every since time, as it never saves this setting.
  14. I am in an Keeper Auction league as well.... If TE is required, I'd stay with Kelce. If it is not, I like the trade. Jefferson and Kelce should be similar in points by years end. and you're $33 dollars richer to draft a stud RB or WR and you have Monty as an RB2, and Jefferson as an WR1 or WR2. Please answer my Keeper Auction question
  15. Cheers! I am in an Auction Keeper league as well. This is tough at the current values for them. My gut says Montgomery @ $24 and Kittle @ $13. I'm not high on Aaron Jones at this point in his career, and $47 sounds a bit steep for me. DJ Moore is intriguing, but Sam Darnold is throwing to him now. If TE is required in your league, I'd for sure go Montgomery and Kittle. If TE is not required, I'm liking Montgomery with DJ Moore. Please answer my Keeper Auction question as well....
  16. Personally, my second keeper would be Kelce. Especially since it looks like you require a TE position. However, between the three you're debating over, my order of preference is Locket, Deeboo, Sutton. Though, you're photo has AJ Green at 16. So Locket would be my selection. Here's mine please
  17. Fair enough. I guess I didn't say who I would keep: Murray, Jefferson, Henry, Gibson I'd find a way to keep Jefferson. If Gibson is last on your list, then you should cut him.
  18. Maybe I just keep Kamara and Gibson for $73 and dump the two receivers?
  19. 12 Team - Keeper - Auction League. Full PPR. 1Q, 1R, 2W, 2Flex We must keep two players from our previous years roster. Keeper #1 is Antonio Gibson @ $3 (my other choice is Alvin Kamara @ $70, but I can draft him again, if needed, at that price) Keeper #2 Do I keep Cooper Kupp @ $30 or Antonio Brown @ $2 I don't like either player, but I must keep a second person. Or I could keep my kicker, Younghoe Koo @ $1 and that will give me $197 dollars to fill out this years roster.
  20. Ummm, this is a Keeper League, Derrick Henry is 27 years old, and had a hell of a lot of carries last season. Henry will most likely do well this season, but what about the next three years when he turns 28, 29, and then 30? Antonio Gibson is 23 years old, with more good years to keep him on your roster. He will be 26 when Henry will be age 30.
  21. There isn't a right or wrong way to adjust this year, but we are adjusting in my league this year, and resuming our normal rules next year. If my Fantasy Baseball team is any indicator, COVID-19 will impact not only the NFL, but our Fantasy Football season. We have entire teams sitting out, plus their opponent, and possibly the team they just played and their opponent. We are an Auction League with two keepers. Here is what I am implementing for my league this season only: Supplemental Rules For The COVID-19 Season NOTES: Unless I find a better site, or you’ve found one to suggest, we will use the 4for4.com website to track players on the Reserve/COVID-19 List, and for the NFL Opt-Out List. The deadline for the NFL Opt-Out List is August 6, so this list should be clear cut on draft night. However, players can still opt out after this date if certain conditions arise. Tracker: https://www.4for4.com/2020/preseason/covid-19-iropt-out-tracker-backups-target MyFantasyLeague: Injury status will list Reserve/COVID-19 players as: · (C) - COVID-IR (Illness) · (H) - Holdout (Opt Out) Draft Night Players on the NFL Opt-Out List cannot be drafted nor added to your roster at any point during the season. They are sitting out for the season, thus cannot be drafted. If any of your two keepers opt out after you declare them, and draft night has not occurred, you may select another player from your old roster. Roster Position Changes Add in FLEX positions for this season only. The FLEX positions will ease any issues of your active players moving to your Reserve/COVID-19 List during the weeks and not having enough quality starters in the running back and receiver positions. I do want feedback on this change for implementing permanently, or some version of it. · Normal Season: RB-RB-WR-WR-WR · COVID Season: RB-WR-FLEX-FLEX-FLEX Unlimited COVID IR Spots Unlimited COVID IR spots for any player listed on the Reserve/COVID-19 List Tracking website. Only players that are currently on your active roster, are eligible to be added to your COVID IR Spots. Meaning, you may NOT pick up a player from waivers, to stash them in your COVID IR spots, if they were on the waiver wire when their status was changed. All other normal player injuries must reside on your active roster, as they normally are. If a player is on the NFL Opt-Out list, they cannot be added during waivers. If a player is in your COVID IR Spot, and his status changes to Opt Out, he must be removed from your COVID IR Spots. Waivers The extended waivers period now runs for the entire preseason and extends all the way through the Championship Week. Coincidently, the rule changes implemented after last season have this covered. See Page 4 in the 2020 Draft Night Packet for clarity on the rule changes for this season.
  22. Come on people!! The Cheat Sheets have Fantasy Point Projections now listed next to every player! This is frigging awesome and it's not that difficult to estimate where the tiers would go based on their projected points.
  23. The reason I ask as backup is I have Fitzmagic as my current starter, but if he does not start all season long, I'm in a deep league and the QB waivers are pretty thin. So if I lose Fitzpatrick as a starter, who would you rather have as your backup to start: Mayfield or Bortles Also, I could also keep three QB's as we have no roster position limits.
  24. You're downplaying the five month winters. We've already had snow in our forecast for the northern part of the state.
  25. Copy and Paste works perfectly into my Excel sheet! Then modify to your hearts content. Everything you all are asking for can be done, by you, in an Excel spreadsheet. I personally modify TheHuddle PPR list down to two sheets, just change the font size, clean up a few columns, color code certain players, adjust the margins. About 10 minutes of work and I have my list that works for my needs, all based from copy and paste of thehuddle's list. Here is a photo of my list, granted it's hard to see, but you get the point.
