  1. Script virus in link. Don't click. HTM/ScrInject.B.Gen Virus False positive? Anyone else getting this?
  2. I bought a biometric (fingerprint) safe thinking it would be faster to access than a traditional lock and key or combination safe. Also, I wouldn't have to worry about my kids finding the key or worry about it getting misplaced. In theory it makes sense, but I'm disappointed. Frequently, the sensor fails to authenticate me, sometimes multiple times. the extra 20 - 30 seconds it takes to wipe the glass, lick the rest of the dinner of my hand, and try again can be a long time in a home defense situation. I still like the idea of a small biometric safe in the drawer of my nightstand, but if I had to do it over again, I would put some time into researching which mechanisms and which manufacturers are most reliable. Having made the mistake of going cheap, I'll advise you spend to something that works like it should every time. I do NOT recommend: http://www.gunvault.com/
  3. Amen, brother. Preachin' to the choir.
  4. I'll know better what to recommend if you tell me where the offshore development center is and when you plan to move there. India, China, Brazil, or Russia?
  5. RLS is often caused by a magnesium deficiency. Try supplementing with Mg. The type Mg matters. Cheap magnesium supplements are not well absorbed and stay in the gut causing a laxative effect. If constipation is the issue, then that's what you want (milk of magnesia, for example). For you, however, I recommend magnesium glycinate. It is well absorbed and relieves the symptoms of magnesium deficiency. My mom suffered from severe night-time leg cramps, insomnia, and irregular heart beats (all due to low Mg). I bought her some and suggested she take a whole gram in divided doses until she got better. After a few days of 400mg for breakfast, 300mg at lunch, and 300mg at dinner, she felt much better. Now she just needs 100mg at each meal to maintain a sufficient level. Good luck. Let me know how it works out. EDIT: math typo
  6. Further explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angiogenesis_inhibitor If it were your mom, your wife, your sister, or your daughter, you wouldn't want the FDA limiting access to anti-angiogenic treatments. 4:22 7:27
  7. rather Megan Foxie reply, pecker nose.

  9. +1 Wired all the way. Use Cat 6 (or at a min Cat 5e) to enable long runs for gigabit ethernet. Phone can be carried on a RJ 45 jack, too. I'd run a min of two lines to each room and four lines to the office and media room.
  10. I've always been afraid of those. One false move and you've blown your d!ck off.
  11. We must ban guns! Think of the children. If you want to protect your kids from the biggest risk of injury or death, then you want to focus your liberty-curbing efforts on disallowing home owners from digging swimming pools. Guns are only 1/10th the problem that pools are. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental injury-related death among children ages 1 to 4. Roughly 5,000 children 14 and under go to the hospital because of accidental drowning-related incidents each year; 15% die and about 20% suffer from permanent neurological disability. If that weren't bad enough, for each death caused by drowning, there are 1-4 nonfatal submersion accidents serious enough for the victim to be hospitalized. I agree. Kids come first. Me must implement a stringent background check for every land-owner who wants to keep themselves cool in the summer. Felons, people with a history of mental illness, and those who fail a through FBI background check must not be allowed to swim. I don't buy the agreement that if we outlaw bathtubs, only criminals will take baths.
  12. Just a little joke. I head down to south Austin on Sat mornings. Buy me a breakfast taco and I'll stop by.
