The only hope in the situation I cling to is Shanny's ego... If he thinks both will perform even CLOSE to the same, he'll go with MBell because he wants to show the world that he can find great RBs that weren't anywhere else on people's radars. If MBell rolls for 1200 this year, then Shanny looks like a genious and he'll stand there smug on the sideline listening to Madden ramble on about how everything Shanny does is amazing...

My Commish was playing for his playoff life against another team playing for the same. Commish was down by by 17 with Sea D left to play against SA. We thought he was done for without question. Then, this happened... This was the single greatest comeback I've EVER seen in fantasy football. Its amazing to think he made the playoffs. I feel very happy for him (Commish for 8 years and hasn't won it yet)...

This is why you will seldom see the Colts put someone into motion. I can't think of a single play they have put someone in motion this year and it has been rare in the last several years (to the best of my recolection)...

I'm in a 14 team, 1 - keeper league in our 9th season. I've made the playoffs 7 times. I've been saying for years that tanking is a problem. I finally got a lottery setup which has helped a bit. But trading draft picks is allowed, it just hasn't been done enough. Until this year... This year, I started off 4-6 and realized I was out. I had a great team, but injuries and poor managing allowed me to lose 4 games by 3 or fewer points. My team looked like this: C. Palmer L. Johnson J. Jones (W. Parker) T. Holt P. Burris (D. Branch) T. Gonzo (H. Miller) Jax Def. So, I started a run on players from my team by making A LOT of trade offers and warning teams that I was offering similar things to people they would be playing in the playoffs. All it took was one team to give me a 2nd rounder for Holt and H. Miller and the flood gates opened. I made 5 trades and now have 15 picks in the first 10 rounds next year. My team now looks like this: B.Boller J. Jones M. Alstott A. Hakim G. Lewis J. Putzier G.B. Def. I'm still trying to win each week (submitting my best players), but its not happening (exactly like I want). I should have the 2nd or 3rd best chance in the lottery now. I finally got our team talking and just NOW we are talking about what to do in the future. I've asked that we use a playoff for the 8 non-playoff teams that determines the draft order. With only one retainer, why not help teams that just missed the playoffs? Another owner is arguing to move up the trading deadline. Still doesn't help with teams that lose interest 1/2 way into the season because they are losing. That's why I think the playoff for draft pick solution takes care of teams unloading for picks and teams not paying attention. You'll want to get free agents and have a good team if you know you have to play for draft pick slot after the regular season.

Could you explain what it is? I'm in several MFL leagues but I haven't seen anything about it...

I think there is confusion on the question, "If we were going to draft today..." Does that mean go back in time to the beginning of the season and draft or draft today for the remainder of the season? If its the first, I can see LJ being about 10. I assume its the latter, in which case there are a couple of name not included that I have to ask about. No Julius Jones? He's healthy now and should be the starter assuming Barber compliments him and doesn't steal TDs from him. I also think Tatum Bell will separate himself from Anderson a bit and start to make a case for this top 10 list as well.

I want to know too. I'm in a 14 team league and he was cut. Anyone who can be anything is worth something. But, only if his apology works and the Eagles decide to bring him back. I'm assuming that WON'T happen. But what if it somehow does? Is he worth a back roster spot instead of Mike Williams for example?

Akers is available in my league so I'd like this to be confirmed as well. Anyone hear anything? Other than this post, I have seen or heard nothing else...

Just lost in two leagues (came up short). Needed 9 to tie from Reed in one league (got 8) Needed 9 from Parker in one league (got 7) This is the most painful week to date to lose like this in both of the leagues.
