  1. Invite sent...thanks.

  2. I need the room on my bench and I have to drop one of them. Competitive deep league, so whomever it is is likely gone for good. Format is 1/2 pt. PPR for what it's worth.
  3. My team was screwed by autodraft, and I'm left with the choice between the following in the flex: Rawls or Prosise on my team, but I'm considering a high upside TE off the wire. There are no waiver adds of any value in RB/WR, aside from possibly J. Crowder, so I'm thinking about going for broke with a TE that at least has a chance to put up a respectable line. I'm considering either C. Walford or V McDonald. I like Walford's matchup as it should be a high scoring games Am I crazy to even to consider this?
  4. WW is garbage. Top couple WR's are: M. Wallace / N. Aghalor / J. Strong / V. Cruz / K. Britt / S. Smith / J. Crowder RB's are even thinner than that. Forsett, if he gets signed somewhere, would be the best option. The rest are long shot 2nd or 3rd stringers. **Edit** Start 2RB's & 2 WR's with 2 flex spots. Right now I'm starting Green / Thomas & Freeman / Sims. In the flex I have Jones & Hyde...
  5. I was the only manager in my 12 team league that couldn't make the draft (GD work getting in the way of whats important), and my team is awful, .5PPR starting 1 QB / 2WR / 2RB / 1TE / 2 Flex / Def / Kicker. Roster is as follows: QB - R. Wilson / B. Roethlisberger (generally I don't even draft a QB until the 8th @ the earliest) WR - A.J. Green / D. Thomas / S. Coates / T. Pryor / J Doctson RB - D. Freeman / C. Sims / C. Hyde / M. Jones / C. Johnson (Ari) / D. Lewis TE - D. Allen / T. Eifert Def - Seattle K - Catanzaro I was sent this trade: Give: Green & Hyde Receive: Rawls / Crabtree / Garcon Obviously I need help @ WR, but is it foolish to give up what I anticipate to be a top 5 WR in Green? Hyde & M. Jones are looking pretty shaky, so there's little trade value there, and I've floated a few trades w/ Big Ben but everyone is pretty much set on their QB's, so no takers there. The biggest kick in the nuts is that this league includes two fantasy writers for NFL.com, & the rest of the competition knows their stuff too.
  6. If it was PPR, I'd say your looking good, but in standard scoring your RB's leave something to be desired. I don't agree with jkraft896's take on Latavius Murray, I think he'll actually improve this year personally, but I'd still want some depth for insurance. Possibly snag Deandre Washington, he's looked good in preseason. I'd replace either Willams or Marshall w/ Washington.
  7. I can keep 3 of the following 4, no draft pick cost. The format is 12 team PPR, start 2RB, 2 RB/WR flex, & 2 WR, so all three will likely be starters. A.J. Green K. Allen A. Cooper J. Edelman I'm pretty set on Green and Allen, but torn between Edelman & Cooper, although I've been leaning Cooper.
  8. I'd pick draft positions, then lock in Keepers right before draft, that way you allow for owners to trade draft spots and improve the quality of their keepers.
  9. I sold DirecTV, Dish, & Comcast for years in the PNW. There is a 6 mos. waiting period before you qualify as a new customer again just for this reason, unless they've changed policy in the last year. As someone else mentioned best bet is getting to the customer retention department, they have the authority and resources to offer the best "deals" to make you stay.
  10. With Dez you not only have to worry about his injury, but also Romo, which makes him a bit to risky for me in the 1st. If he fell to me in the 2nd I'd consider him, but only if some of the other high ceiling WR w/ lower risk were taken.
  11. I'm in a 12 team, 3 keeper, and full PPR league w/ the #1 pick in the draft this year. My keepers at this point are A.J. Green, A. Cooper, and K. Allen. I took over this team and the rest are garbage. Would it make sense to trade Give: 1st rd. pick #1 overall K. Allen Get: T. Gurley 1st rd. pick #7 overall I will likely still be able to snag another good RB or WR w/ the 7th pick . Does this seem like a reasonable offer, or should I just stay put and take Elliott w/ the 1st pick?
  12. You'd be crazy to give up Charles & a 2nd Rd pick for Edelman. I wouldn't even drop the 2nd round pick alone for him.
  13. Even as a guy who doesn't much like the Patriots, Gronk is fun to watch play, the guy is a beast.
  14. I'm a little gunshy on Washington with Shorts back in the mix and the dud he put up last week, but the Pats receiving core is obviously a mess and LaFell doesn't seem to be getting the lift I would have expected. I also have J. Crowder, C. Fleener, & T. Riddick, but I'm more holding them as emergency fill ins if needed.
  15. It boils down to the simple question of "Can I trust this guy to lead my team?" One game after getting the nod as uncontested starter for the rest of the season a guy that's recently been in rehab is out drinking. Is that really the vision of someone you can trust? It seems like it's just a few drinks with friends, but the problem with alcoholics is that once they get started it becomes near impossible to stop of their own volition. My younger brother is an alcoholic (as were numerous other members of my extended family), and about four or five years ago I remember dropping him at the airport so he could fly to San Fran for a Tool concert, at this time he'd been dry about a year or so. About 3 hours later I got a call from the local PD to come pick him up because he got blackout drunk in the airport bar and missed his flight, and this is just one of countless issues that have cropped up. Obviously this is just my own personal experience, and I wouldn't assume that everyone behaves the same, but if I'm running a multi-million dollar organization it's a simple question of why take the chance, especially considering that the guy is of middling talent compared to any number of QB's.
