  1. I think if Brady doesn't sign with NE, which is a big if, he goes out west. Raiders or the Chargers are my guess.
  2. I guess I'm a little confused with this argument of assault. Almost EVERY sport technically has assault in it. Hockey players should all be sued and thrown in jail according to this logic. B-Ball and Baseball players have bench clearing brawls, a college basketball player even picked up a chair recently. That is equally as bad if not worse than a helmet. Honestly, wielding a stick is the most dangerous by far! So I guess we should just quit the game of hockey because a high stick happens all the time and should be considered assault.
  3. Houston is the only underdog that wins this weekend. My prediction.
  4. Maybe I'm being to harsh, but how many times are they going to get caught before they really get penalized? This is worse than bounty gate in my opinion. Both are bad but the cheating and continued cheating is ridiculous.
  5. If you haven't read the links in this thread you're missing out. There is some very telling information that I didn't know. Not just video taping, but seeing practices, etc. You can't tell me that Beli is the only HC that is extremely detailed and that the Patriots are the only team that practice every little detail. Something is amiss. In the salary cap era, it is virtually impossible to continue to win like the Patriots have. Every team gets hammered with huge contracts and have to let other key pieces go. Again, go read the articles and you see what you think. In my opinion, Beli should be completely banned from the NFL moving forward since they've been caught yet again. I'm an admitted Bronco fan and therefore biased, but cheating is cheating. https://www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/13533995/split-nfl-new-england-patriots-apart Now having said that, how many other teams do you think take it to this level? I believe every team does some of this, but maybe not to the extent of the Patriots. Just a thought.
  6. To me that's the thing right there. I don't think there's ever been any argument that he's a better QB than many backup and even some current starting QB's in the league now. It was his drama and price tag that were the problem. We will see if he is actually interested in playing in the NFL again. My guess is if he drops his price tag significantly then he will be on a roster, otherwise he's done.
  7. So I thought the original reason he never signed with anyone was in large part because he felt like he should get essentially top 5-10 QB money. I don't think teams wanted to block him from playing as much as they didn't want to pay that for him. Is that right? Do you think he's changed his tune regarding money?
  8. "Don't throw it to stone hands"
  9. You can start a QB in the flex spot in this league so you can start 2 QB's.
  10. Cousins is now headed to the bench.
  11. My feeling was the illness was a stretch but possible so that's why I put him on the bench. Not ready to give up on him just yet.
  12. He could emerge as a real target as the season wears on, but I think this was more about the match-up. Yiadom was getting burned the entire game.
  13. 4th pre-season game. Nothing to see here.
  14. That's the only one I got right......shhheeessshhh! Not good so far.
  15. This is exactly what I was thinking. He could suddenly be very average in a hurry.
  16. I don't think they get a 1st round pick for him. I think Cooper was an outlier and not consistent with what he should've received. If AB gets traded I say it's a 2nd round pick and maybe a late round pick but not a 1st.
  17. Sorry for him? $20M is way over priced. Maybe $20M over 5 years but that even seems high at this point.
  18. What did you hear about Rich Denison? Just curious
  19. Maybe I'm a blind Bronco homer, but everything I read keeps saying that in NFL circles Kubiak is still highly regarded. Atlanta was after him to be their OC. I still think he can help Denver's offense and Keenum improve. Kubiak was heavily involved in last years draft and I'm hoping they let him do that again this year. I'll agree that the SB was won on a fantastic defense as it certainly wasn't Manning's play. I hope I'm right on him as I don't think this team is very far from a 10-6 season vs. their 6-10 season.
  20. Tampa gives up a 6th and 7th round pick to AZ for this as well. Thought that was interesting.
  21. This one to me is a head scratcher. Maybe he's a QB whisperer or something but he hasn't exactly excelled as a HC. What am I missing?
