  1. I would wait another week to see more of Woodhead and Gordon if it were me. See if either of them show more promise than Stewart or Abdullah. Also let's you see if Dez was a fluke and if Nelson or Sanders see an increase in stats this weekend. Work the waiver wire/free agency in the meantime is what I'd do if it were me in your shoes.
  2. The way I see it, Gordon is TD-dependent but Woodhead has more opportunities (touches/catches) which can easily lend itself to TDs. Give me consistent touches and targets over depending on SD to be ahead and trying to wear down the defenses with Gordon
  3. I'm currently a M. Gordon owner and I am aggressively trying to sell him right now because I recall vividly how it was once Allen went down last year and Woodhead was always (annoyingly) useful for the guy that picked him up in our standard 10-tean league
  4. Yea, I was leaning more towards Allen to be honest. Only things holding me back was really the number of mouths to feed with Indy's WRs. But thinking about long-term, just in case Gronk deals with this injury for multiple weeks, I'd feel better with Allen. Good point on that with West. I was hoping he could possibly be an early home run but more than likely, he's not. Although, the thought of being able to drop Tajae Sharpe and either pick him up again in free agency next week or worst case, pick at one of the breakout WR that have a good week 1 entices me as well. I feel like WRs are very deep this year, it's just a matter of separating the role players from the breakout ones.
  5. I like your logic. Who would you drop if you were me, Tajae Sharpe? Or someone else? Thanks for the feedback!
  6. Idk if Gilmore really showed much promise during preseason/last yr. I mean, there's a reason the Ravens signed Ben Watson to be their TE before he got injured in preseason. And if you think their RB situation is messy, it's a headache predicting how their targets will be spread amongst Smith, Aiken, Wallace, and whoever their TE ends up being. I'd look elsewhere than Baltimore for a TE but that's just my thoughts.
  7. Well, those are the most promising options. I got Gronk in 2nd round and someone snagged Bennet before I could. There is Z. Miller in Chi but they play @Houston and he is concussion/injury-prone. Hmmm, so you'd take the chance on James and Big Ben clicking in their first real game at home against Washington over the +matchup of Detroit playing at Indy?
  8. I'm a Gronk owner in a 10-team standard league. The following is the WW TEs I'm considering and my current roster. Any help is much appreciated and feel free to link your topic questions and I'll return my opinions. Thanks! Waiver Wire TEs - D. Allen (vs Det) - J. JAMES (VA Was) Current Roster QB - K. Cousins QB - T. Brady RB - L. McCoy RB - C. Anderson (#blessed) RB - M. Gordon RB - L. Blount RB - C. West (just picked up with the new of possible RBBC and chance possibility Ware gets injured) WR - A. Green WR - L. Fitzgerald WR - C. Coleman WR - J. Gordon WR - T. Sharpe (thinking he might be who I'd drop but that leaves me with 3 "playable" WRs) TE - R. Gronkowski K - C. Catanzaro Def- Green Bay
  9. WR C. Coleman @Phi RB M. Gordon @KC RB L. Blount @Ari Not looking for an explanation (though I'd enjoy any support you give), just helpe pick one. I'm really up in the air on whether starting one of the RBs against a top defense or a rookie WR with some minor injury concern against a porous secondary in Phi. Thanks in advance!!!
  10. Yeaaaa, D. Henry, C. Ware and C. Michael got taken the same round as I got Blount so I just told myself to wait til someone else's TV gets injured and try to snipe the next man up, rather than feel obligated to pick a RB I didnt like/minimal upside. Best RB available on waivers right now is B. Powell, T. Riddick, D. Washington, and any of the Baltimore backfield options. Other interesting options I like RB-wise are: C. Johnson and A. Morris. Two solid guys with a good preseason showing, and more than capable O-line. Once I know who is THE guy in Cleveland's WR corps, I'll look into dropping Coleman or trading Gordon. Only got Coleman to hold me over for 4 weeks and then cross my fingers that Gordon gives me WR2 stats. Thanks for your thoughts!
  11. So after doing well in a draft where I had the #1 pick, I just did my other league's draft as the #10 pick. The leagues are just standard 10-team. The following is my team, please let me know what you think (especially at WR, I know it's a big weakness of mine this time). QB K. Cousins (looking to sell high if he has a string of good games, increase WR depth) QB T. Brady RB L. McCoy RB C. Anderson RB M. Gordon RB L. Blount WR A. Green WR L. Fitzgerald WR J. Gordon WR C. Coleman WR D. Parker (looking at replacing him, maybe M. Wallace?) WR T. Sharpe TE R. Gronkowski K C. Catanzaro DEF Minnesota Thanks for taking the time to read and give your input!
  12. I like RowdyRoos idea!!! Sounds like your brother is trying to hustle you lol
