Let's examine why activity has dropped on these boards...I wonder why...maybe because people like grits do what they do and people just don't want to deal with it. If I said To me I love this deal and see me getting McCoy and Marshall at the perfect time. But maybe I am missing something. That clearly means am I missing something...I like their value going forward...but maybe I am missing something. Which is why I said I think I am getting them at the perfect time...which is me implying I think going forward they will be better and get closer to their pre-draft value. So thank you. I am simply curious about thoughts on McCoy and Marshall's values moving forward. I think that is fair Finn. I just looked at the point totals through 5 weeks and the guys I gave have 58.40 more points thus far than the guys I got. So yeah only time will tell. My own opinion is Marshall and McCoy will be at least somewhat at their norms at some point this season, and that is what I am curious about...do people agree or think those two guys are going to have flat out bad years. Interesting discussion....

Am I missing something on this one. I just traded for McCoy, Vern Davis, and Marshall and gave up Lacy, Gates, and K. Wright. 12 team 1 PPR league. I have Gronk already at TE. I know McCoy hasn't been great, but Lacy wasn't either until last game. And even with that monster game Lacy has 12 more points than McCoy overall. I know Vern has had injury issues, but I have Gronk at TE so don't need Vern at the moment. And while Marshall has struggled he still has 1 more point than Wright does overall. Not a do I make this trade, because it is done. More of a did I miss something here question. To me I love this deal and see me getting McCoy and Marshall at the perfect time. Crazy as it sounds, as a Lacy owner I really was never that worried about him despite the rough start because I knew the schedule would get better...until tonight. I mean when the dude goes for 60 on 4 carries on the first drive and then gets TWO MORE CARRIES THE WHOLE 1ST HALF we have issues. This is why NFL coaches are funny. Last week Starks NEVER sees the field. This week Lacy FINALLY has it going and goes off to start....and you put Starks in the next series and every other series pretty much. All you can do is smile, and now I am very concerned about Lacy.

Wonder how tomorrow night will play out. Is he back period and gets 20 plus touches or do we see some sort of split with Davis. Very interesting to see how it plays out. I think you have to play Charles for sure, but I wonder how much Davis gets involved and if maybe he gets a decent amount of touches as well.

If you are saying YOU would not start Eli because he is up and down, which BTW is not what I think you were saying prior to your last post...but I digress, then all good. That is obviously your own call for your team. But overall the point some of us are making is YES Eli is up and down. NO Eli is not a stud or a top 5 QB by a long shot. BUT in good matchups, which he has PLENTY of moving forward, he can be a solid QB and better than a lot of guys outside of those top 8-10 really good QB's.

clearFor fantasy how many QB's are hands down better Alp? List them. Again the issue, that you don't seem to want to accept, is everyone except you seems to be honest on what Eli is. A borderline top 10-12 QB. Certainly top 15. Maybe a low end # 1 in a 12 team league. Certainly a starter in 2 QB 10 or 12 team leagues. And in good matchups, like EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS NEXT 4 GAMES, he is a decent option. You can do much worse. No one is saying elite. No one is saying top 5. At best I said borderline top 10 (in good matchups). So the only one who seems to be over the top here is you. Unless you think he isn't even a top 20 fantasy QB, and if you feel that way list the 20 that are better, then I am just not sure what you are saying. NO ONE is saying elite, top 5, or even top 10.

The only person cracking people up is you. For some reason you seem to think anyone in favor of Eli is saying he is a given stud now...NO ONE has said that. I have seen borderline top 10-12 QB. Top 15. Solid QB in a 2 QB league. That's what I have seen and 100% agree with. You have turned that into Giant fans acting as if Eli is a given or great and we are all saying that and he will be a top 5 stud. You are the one off in magic land here.
