LaPorta is important, but if you want to talk key players who should have sat Goff and St. Brown would lead that list, and Hutchinson, Anzalone and others were equally or more important.

The Eagles lost, and early on the Cowboys were not exactly blowing the Commanders out. I have no problem with playing to win when there was a higher seed (2 means more home games, 3 vs 4 not much different) in play. A freak injury or two to the Cowboys and they could have lost.

Every team takes a different approach. SF and BAL had nothing to play for, SF still used some starters a decent amount (Deebo and Aiyuk each played about 1/3 of the game). Browns nothing to play for, it showed as virtually all regular starters were out of action, Hunt played a bit as did Tillman and Bryant on offense. It was an ugly game I turned it off before halftime.

PS  I would not refer to that as "play calling" either.

I agree with most of what you are saying, accept for SF playing their starter, If I was SF I would of played Deebo & Aiyuk a full hall knowing they have a bye next week unlike DET,  but hey that's why I'm not coaching at the NFL level haha

Most of the lines I saw in one article were just 3-4 points, and usually for the home team. Only the Cowboys are giving up close to 7 points.  And that sight with lines + O/U numbers had picks, and picked the Rams to upset the Lions.

I am not betting on any games, and have allowed my team bias to skew my picks in some fashion (CLE & DET).

As for LaPorta, coach Campbell says he has an outside shot of playing. Story on mlive.com said it was a hyperextended knee and bone bruise.

It's coach Campbell play calling ( no the talent ) I'm concerned with.  He seems to be one of the better coaches but had to scratch my head with his play calling the last few weeks. LaPorta should of never been on the field, they had little to no chance of the 2nd seed

Pot o' Gold is a yearly playoff Fantasy league that I run. There's another post about it.   You are getting 4 boxes on sheet 1 ($20) and 4 on sheet 2 ($20) = $40.  I won't be doing a sheet 3.  So, I'll either send you $40 back or you could join the playoff league ($25) and I'll send you $15 back.

    Your call.

thank Irish, just send $40 back , you would think I knew this after being in your SB pools for 20 years now haha

    Both are in.

Mustofbeendrunk, it's 4 on one sheet, 4 in the 2nd for a total of 8, not 16.  So you only needed to send $40.  Are you doing the fantasy football playoff league - Pot o' Gold?

don't know about the  Pot o' Gold, so short answer is no, money already sent so keep it until we see if you get a 3rd sheet going ?

    I thought I was getting 2ea. 4 box per sheet x 2 sheets = $80

In way to many of these to keep track

I don't own one, and not a huge buff but do enjoy looking at them. A few years back I visited my brother in NorCal and we went to the Hot August Nights event in Reno NV. Spent hours walking around looking at cars and taking lots of pictures. He is 10 years older (born in 54) and knows them a lot better than I do.

I've been watching more and more of the car build shows over they years.

I went full circle, when I was in my teens & 20's I built & own many classics. Then life happened, but now that I'm a year from retirement I have been looking for another project car to restore to give me something keep myself occupied.

  6. Back in the day I recall seeing several 1960 impalas that had 10 tail lights ( 5 each side ) not sure if these were on a special edition or modified using the wiring from a 59. I probable seen a dozen of these over the years but I search google images for over an hour trying to get a pic to prove to a co-worker these are out there.

Anyone here remember seeing these ?

Back surgery 35 months ago. Lots of wear and tear in my yout...and it all started with little things that turned into a major thing.

    Nice team.

Two back surgeries, 1st one in my early 40's & the 2nd one 10 years after & both were my own stupid fault for acting like I was still a 20 year old, that is why it frigging sucks now that I'm not doing stupid manure anymore, I was only cleaning a shower floor, not even cleaning it really just bent over spraying it with bleach.

Able to walk today but still get sharp pains shooting down the back of my leg all the way to my ankle

  9. QB - plays hard & scores some TD's

RB1  this guy is awesome, runs really fast
RB2  not so fast but is very big
WR1  was really good when he was younger
WR2  catches the ball a lot
WR3  would be great if not always injured
TE -   easily top 10 this year
PK -   kicks the ball really far
DEF - likes to take the day off sometimes

And Treylon Burks hasn't exactly dazzled at camp either. I think they'll end up regretting that pick.

I drafted him @ 4.09 in a 4 round rookie only draft (Dynasty league) where I can put him on my taxi squad for up to two years before I must activate or drop

    EXPERT NOTE

I'm disappointed to report that I acquired zero of Titans wide receiver, Kyle Philips, in my rookie drafts. First, he was taken one spot before me by FantasyPros' own Pat Fitzmaurice after I waxed poetic about him on Pat's Fitz on Fantasy podcast. Then he got swept up right before my pick in another dynasty rookie draft.I believe he has some sneaky Hunter Renfrow-like slot skill that most will overlook, but NFL teams like the Titans will love.Philips commanded a 30 percent target share in 2021 at UCLA and could potentially become a top underneath option for Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee.

    Fantasy Impact:

After the Titans traded A.J. Brown on Thursday and released Julio Jones early this offseason, Philips could earn targets early in his rookie season. He is a late-round target in rookie drafts, especially in PPR scoring.

    Plus this from Steve Smith
