  1. Kitna - the Birds will be playing their 2nd string in a meaningless game.
  2. Agree w/ your initial thoughts: LJ + J. Jones J. Smith + C. Johnson
  3. Leftwich - must win. No Taylor. OAK pass D is softer than JAX pass D.
  4. I had one team that came out of a 10-team draft with: Barlow (2nd) T. Jones (3rd) Griffen (4th) T. Bell (8th or 9th rnd) Hearst (15th rnd) A. Thomas (16th rnd) Now that's bad! And my #1 pick? R. Moss Oh yeah...and throw in Heap as a season-long deadweight. Bizarrely, I went into last wk at 6-6 (Droughns, Brees and Witten were largely responsible for keeping me from being totally pathetic) and needing a win to finish in the top 4 and make the playoffs. Of course, I lost. Sadly, this weeks line-up would have been: Brooks J. Jones, Droughns R. Moss, (J. Smith or Kennison) Witten Elam BUF
  5. J. Smith and Chambers. J. Smith is the passing game for JAX and Lefty will have shaken off the rust. Chambers has outproduced R. Williams lately. Chambers has 2 straight games w/ a TD; +100 yds. in 3 of last 5; 1 TD in 3 of last 5. Over this last 4 games, Williams has 0 TD's and is averaging about 42 yds/game.
  6. Team on the playoff bubble in a must-win game. Start 2 RB's of: McAllister v. CAR Droughns @SD D. Davis @ NYJ Blaylock @OAK K. Jones v. ARI T. Jones v. MIN Starting McAllister. Going back and forth between Droughns, D. Davis and Blaylock. Leaning D. Davis, then Droughns, then Blaylock (8 carries last week+LJ factor). Both Davis and Droughns face tough run D's, but Davis has been unreal the last few weeks. Any help appreciated. Standard YD + TD scoring QB: Favre, Brady RB: McAllister, Droughns, D. Davis, Blaylock, T. Jones, K. Jones WR: Holt, Horn, J. Smith, R. Williams, Branch TE: Schockey K: Vinateri D: PIT
  7. Tough call. I'd lean Muhammed. Fewer options in CAR passing game, he's #2 in avg. targets/game over the last 3 weeks (13.0), and greater chance of having to play catchup. TB's been tough against the pass, but in the last 4 weeks, they've played SF, ATL, and CHI - not great passing offenses.
  8. Barlow! At this point, he's fighting Wheatley for #4RB on that team's depth chart. Pathetic.
  9. Is McAllister a better start than D. Davis v. TEN or Blaylock v. SD? All 3 backs face run D's that have been very good the last 3 weeks. The fact that Horn is one of my starting WR's has me second-guessing myself. Anyone make a case for starting either Davis or Blaylock over Deuce? Thanks. Standard YD + TD scoring. QB: Favre, Brady RB: Droughns, McAllister, D. Davis, Blaylock, T. Jones, K. Jones WR: Holt, Horn, J. Smith, R. Williams, Branch TE: Schockey K: Vinateri D: PIT
  10. Go with Tiki. ATL has a very tough run D. No TD's allowed since KC blew them up. Without a D, Saints are more likely to fall behind and abandon the run. Rain in NY + Manning + weak Eagles run D = even heavier dose of Tiki.
  11. KJ has a nice matchup, but I'd probably go O. Smith. Greater likelihood DET will have to abandon the run when falling behind.
  12. I like the move. Wayne's been great, but until Moss comes back Burleson will probably get more targets and he's outproduced Wayne over the last 2 weeks.
