  1. Sure. Just as soon as they overturn the Jets/Seahawks game from 1998.
  2. I KNOW! Who knew DUVALL was a hotbed for cutting edge metal?
  3. Hola Huddlers! If you have a moment, I just wanted to let you know about a little event we have put together locally, the second BONEBAT "Comedy of Horrors" FILM FEST, which will take place on Saturday, April 21st, at the Big Picture Theater in Redmond, WA. This year's Fest has been greatly expanded to include 3 independent Feature Films, The Moleman of Belmont Avenue, starring Robert Englund, Monster Brawl, Starring Dave Foley and Lance Henriksen, and the zombie buddy comedy Deadheads. All 3 are presented in their Seattle area, big-screen premieres. Additionally, we will be showing 21 hand-picked shorts from around the world, all firmly seated within the comedy and/or horror genre. Between features, we will have a huge prize giveaway and two 30-minute sets of live music from Kirkland nerdcore rap kingpins Death*Star and Duvall cutting-edge metal act Burning of I, In total, we've got 9 hours of independent horror, comedy, and music lined up for your enjoyment, all situated in a luxury theater that serves adult beverages. It promises to be great time, and I hope you can join us. You can find out more about the fest right here. Thank you for reading,
  4. You know, big fan, but Heritage still hasn't grown on me. I can put in on as background music, but there just isn't enough there there for me to get a dedicated listen out of it. That said, you see the new tour lineup? Opeth, Mastodon and Ghost? 4/30 in Seattle. I am there.
  5. That, and Hass led the Seahawks to a Superbowl which, as much as they are also beloved, Zorn and Kreig never accomplished.
  6. I picked up a linksys gaming router for around $50, The MS version isn't necessary.
  7. Vote for us, and I'll send you a sock filled with any liquid you want!
  8. I interviewed him in episode 27. Oh wait, that was Tom Atkins. :
  9. What Up, Huddlas? A quick update, it was announced yesterday that The BoneBat Show made it onto the final ballot for the 2009 Podcast Awards, under the Comedy Category! For those who don't know, The Podcast Awards are an annual series of awards given to the internet's best podcasts, as voted on by the listening public. Daily voting on the final ballot will open on November 13th with voting closing November 30th at 1800 est. Starting Friday, you can vote HERE. We are competing against a load of great shows, so we will need every vote we can get! I would just like to say a most sincere thank you to all the Huddlers who helped make this happen. I know it's cliche to say, but as 1 of 3500 shows nominated, just making on the final ballot is a HUGH honor. We couldn't have made it without your support! Thank You!
  10. No but there was yesterday...
  11. The Bauhaus version of Ziggy Stardust.
  12. Hey fellow Huddlers! If I may have a second of your time... I am co-host of a little podcast called The BoneBat Show. It is a comedy and pop culture internet radio show, which features independent music, with new episodes every 3 weeks through my own site and Itunes. Regular features include "What Pisses Us Off"; movie, music, book and game reviews in "Multimedia Triage"; and of course, the "Filthy Joke of The Week". Additionally, we often feature interviews with bands, actors, video game designers etc. The show can be a bit raunchy, so it's not for everyone, but I am proud of what we've done so far. After 2 years of hand-crafting free entertainment for the masses, my bestfriend/co-host and I are attempting to elevate our game, so here's is how you can help a little podcast make good. The Podcast Awards are currently accepting nominations until 10/18/09. If you have a few minutes, we would greatly appreciate it if you could give The BoneBat Show a listen, and if you like what we do, please drop by the Podcast awards site and nominate The BoneBat show for inclusion on the 2009 Podcast Awards Ballot in the category of comedy. Also, if you dig it, please tell a friend. The show's URL is: http://www.bonehand/com/bonebat.html or you can reach it via the link in my sigline. DMD/Big John. Please crush this if I'm out of line. Thank you for your time, and my most sincere apologies for the obnoxious beggery.
  13. So lets get this straight: yesterday, the Seahawks21 proclaimed "worst O-line in the NFL" held the Rams to ZERO sacks in a game where all scoring came through the air, while rolling to 4.9 YPC and 167 on the ground. As always, the accuracy of your laser-like scrutiny is uncanny. Or are you some sort of opposite-genius?
