  1. Sorry to hear that. It stinks. If it helps to make you feel any better, the team that was leading my league for most of the season, lost it tonight by less than 10 points overall (We use accumlative scoring). He had Keyshawn Johnson who broke his leg in the beginning of the late game. Think he could have gotten 10 points tonight? Probably. Oh well, what are you going to do? Hopefully, you get it next year.
  2. Happy New Year. Thanks for the replies so far. Bumping up here. It sounds like you guys agree with my starters with the possible exception of Haynes. First of all, to clarify I intend on playing BOTH Haynes and Alexander. Unless I hear Seattle is going to sit him. Then I got to decide between Travis Minor or Sammie Parker. Both not too appealing, correct? Does anyone think Patrick Pass should be in there? I am just concerned that he's now questionable, NE reports their starters will play a decent amount and it's him vs. Cobbs their Rookie who they might want to see get some work If he starts, what RB / WR would then sit? I still think I am going with my original lineup, What do you think? Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks for answering my post. I answered this question earlier but my reponse is the same. Start Jones if you want the guy who plays all the game. I am also a Alexander Owner, but I may start him because my options are much bleaker than yours. Samie Parker or Travis Minor. In your case...Jones. Good luck.
  4. Thanks for answering my post. I agree with your line up, but you should go and get Levens. Not too carzy about Bell with him vs. Droughs, but he's still better than Keyshawn. Good luck.
  5. Thanks for answering my post. As an McNabb owner, I agree that week 17 stinks. Have debated with the commish's in my leagues but they disagree.
  6. Thanks for ansering my post. I agree your starters are the right ones. Good luck.
  7. Thanks for answering my post. I like your starters and I think you should go w/ Morris too even though it's BAL Def. I also think O Smith is done. It is tough to not play Carr vs. CLE though. But you're right Seattle needs to win vs. ATL who's got no need to play their starters. Good luck.
  8. OK, here's my tenative lineup, what do you think? QB: J McCown (Could play him or Boller) RB / WR Need a total of 6 here, combo 3/3 or 4/2): S Alexander (Hopefully Seahawks need the game & him) T Jones (Packers Defense are mailing it in, I hope) V Haynes (Supposed to play vs Buffalo after Staley exits) L Evans (Needs the game) A Lelie (Ditto) S Moss (Ditto) TE: A Gates (I hope he plays some, no other options) K: S Graham,Cincy (could play Keading but Chargers should also mail it in) D: Carolina Also, do you think Alexander is a good start given my options above? Will Haynes be a safe start? If not these starters... who starts, who sits? Here's my other options should I not start the above: QB: K Boller RB: P Pass, T Minor, S Bryson (Not much here, maybe Pass?) WR: S Parker (KC has been talking about him but quite an iffy start, right?) D Gabriel (Fed up w 'em though) A Toomer (He-he-he, not a chance) What do you think? Thanks in advance. Happy New Year.
  9. Thanks for the replies so far. I'm going to bump up here to look for more Alexander replies. At this point I'm going with Gates because my backup (Kinney) is questionable and I have no other options. I also picked up Verrnon Haynes and Patrick Pass on waivers; I like Haynes this week. What do you think? Anyone else on Alexander? Thanks in advance. Also, Athletic Supporter, bump up your post if you've got one.
  10. Thanks for answering my post. I'd say Green. I think he's just better than Volek and the Chargers won't play their starting defense the whole game. Good luck.
  11. Thanks for answering my post. You got options, but I'd play the guys you have who will see the whole game. That said I like Culpepper, LJ, and/or J Jones and CJ. Good Luck.
  12. Thanks for answering my post. Davenport may be a shaky start. I think he's questionable and Fisher may take some carries as well. Go to rotoworld.com; they do a good job on updating all teams with regards to starters and injuries. If you need him you could drop Bettis; I think he's out this week. Droughs could have a big week this week. Denver needs him. No on Lewis since they've been talking about Greg Jones this week. Word is Dillon will play at least 1/2. Good Luck.
  13. Thanks for answering my post. Just read that Tomlinson may sit the WHOLE game. That said though, I like Betts over Chatman. He's youe best bet for sure points. Good luck.
  14. Thanks for answering my post regarding Alexander. Generally, I'd say you have to think about playing Alexander. He's just so good an RB and better than Jones. Unfortunately the Bears play at 1 pm and Seahawks play at 4 pm. If you cannot gamble with Alexander's upside/risk, then play Jones, the safer play. He should be good for 100+ yards, hopefully a TD at least against a Packer team that's mailing this one in. I also have Alexander, but I may play him since a fraction of a game from him may be better than my options. Funny, cause I have Jones as well and I am playing him. Good luck. Also, I think go with Bulger.
  15. I guess James, but I wouldn't be suprised to see him play for 1/2 a game or so.
