  1. You obviously don't need me to say anything to prove that I'm a huge Rocky fan. I've got to say that I'm extremely happy with the way Rocky Balboa turned out. I would rank it as #2 in the series only behind the original. This movie really plays with your emotions. There are a lot of funny moments (Paulie has a lot of good one-liners), a lot of sad moments and during the fight in the end I found myself shedding a tear of happiness as I cheered Rocky on. The story was good. The soundtrack was good (mostly instrumental "rocky" music). Surprisingly, the acting was pretty good. This is the way the Rocky saga is supposed to end.
  2. Well, guess what? They are currently in the process of making the 4th Rambo.
  3. What's the deal with the post time being three hours slow? I live on the west coast. Are you guys using Hawaiian time or something? It is currently 12:38am but the post time will say somewhere around 9:38pm.
  4. Thank God basketball season is over. I hate it when ESPN wastes valuable air time talking about the NBA. Now they can concentrate on the important things in life. The Yankees and the NFL!
  5. The 10th Inning helped me win my Fantasy Baseball league last year. thumbs_u thumbs_u This year, The Evil Empire will dominate the Huddle on the Diamond using it!!
  6. If there was a salary cap, I think they would have to get rid of profit sharing. If they want to make the level of competition even on the field, then the small market teams should not get help from teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, Braves, Cubs...etc. ...and if that happened, I could still see teams like the Yankees, Braves, and Red Sox dominating the league since they could just throw more money into scouting and development than other teams anyway. Sure, big time free agent signings would not happen as often, but there is a reason why the Yankees are able to make such big trades all the time. That's because they have an awesome farm system that keeps pumping out great players.
  7. Maybe you should stop posting stuff like this in the Pro Football forum, like a newbie!
  8. Texas would be foolish as hell to not get those 2 other players. And if you add over 100 mil to your payroll on 1 player, you bought a player, PERIOD> Hey Sarge, Do you think two years down the road when Soriano is a free agent that he won't get a huge contract for over $100 million? When Texas can't pay that, I'll be enjoying seeing him back at 2nd base for the Yankees!! smash flag ...and that's $112 over the next 7 years for A-rod. Pretty good bargain for the best player in baseball if you ask me.
  9. A-Rod is the best player in the game right now, but Soriano is not that far behind and he's only been in the league for a few years. So, the Yankees didn't "buy" A-Rod. They traded one of the best players in the game to get one of the best players in the game. You must give credit to the Yankees since they are getting A-Rod at good bargain with Texas still having to pay for $67 millon of his salary. So, in reality, they are only paying him about $112 million for seven years. ...and reports are that Contreras and the minor league catcher are not part of the deal. It is a player to be named later. Which will be a minor league pitcher.

  12. lol That's the funniest thing I've ever heard....and yes, I'm a Yankees fan. If the last two years have taught us anything it's that even the low payroll teams can beat the Yankees if the cards fall right. Even if they do get A-Rod, yeah they'll have a great shot at winning again, but it's still no guarantee. Especially after they retooled half of their team and 3/5 of their starting pitching staff.
