I laughed at this one. It looks like a shrimp boat with a gun turret on the bow.

This pic, also from Neptune, didn't really come out well and didn't really do it justice. The parade had come to a stop when a passing train clipped 3 parked cars along the parade route, which crosses the tracks. So what do you do when you have to stop a parade for an hour? You have an impromptu street party, of course.

He's a few from the Biloxi Neptune parade. Neptune had ove 75 units in their parade, including many bands from all over the state and several smaller private Krews and sponsor floats. All that to say, this is a very small sample, but I can't catch, take pics and drink my beer all at the same time. Still waiting on the Mrs to share the others.

I think they actuality started that in the 2022 superbowl. If I remember right they had kids doing commentary and the slime graphic for touchdowns. I haven't seen this year's broadcast, but I heard if you're a fan of SpongeBob then it's a lot of fun.

Exhausted and man my dogs are killing me, but we got thru the day and caught tons which will be recycled for next year's parades. I'll post some float pictures later, but for now, here's our haul for the day.

It really just depends on where you're at. Mostly just the night parades and only in certain areas. Yeah, if you're walking around Bourbon then you're going to see some crazy ish, but for the most part it's not really like that. Even when I used to ride the Biloxi parades it was fairly rare and mist times the ones you saw were ones you didn't want to see.

As expected, Saints officially hire Klint Kubiak for offensive coordinator.

We had a blast today, caught 4 parades and more throws than we could haul. Kicking off early tomorrow for an all-day marathon. 6 parades and my youngest marching at noon. Even found the Crichton Leprechaun
