Allen, or Spencer Ware due to me having west? Also do I pick up Celek vs Detriot for a tight end for this week? Or is there a better option out there?
  4. Picking up Fitzpatrick for today? My other options would be Sanchez, Bridgewater, or Cousins. But the main question is who to drop? Lacy, Starks, Diggs or Martavis? Thank You! Standard Scoring

  7. So I need everyone's help to prove a point. My brother is commissioner of a league, and at 1-8 was out of the playoffs. He made this trade with his wife, who is in the playoff hunt. .5 ppr league. The overall fantasy rank is listed in parentheses according to Yahoo. 1-8 team gives up: DeAngelo Williams (42), Allen Robinson (25), Matt Ryan (28) His wife gets those three guys and gives only: Roddy White (1803), Russel Wilson (61), and Michael Crabtree (50) He tries to tell me this is a fair trade, and I am whining because me and two others in the league are raising a big stink. Please, for the justice of fantasy football, weigh in on your opinion of whether or not this is a clear collusion between Husband and Wife, or it's a legitimate fair trade. It will help settle a long argument. But probably not, because he's the most stubborn person ever. Thank you.
  8. Standard Scoring 12 team league. Pick two of each then one Flex from the list of running backs and WR RB: Starks vs DET Ingram vs WAS Lacy vs DET Lynch vs ARI West vs DEN WR: Diggs vs OAK Fitzgerald vs SEA Alshon J. Vs STL A. Robinson vs BAL A. Hurns vs BAL Martavis vs CLE RIGHT NOW: RB: I have Ingram and Starks for my RB. Which Ingram is a no brainer this week I think. WR: I have Allen Robinson and Alshon Jeffery FLEX: I have Fitzgerald as of now but if bridgewater is under center for sure I will start Diggs.
  9. Standard Scoring. 12 team league setting in 3rd at 5-4 only with 5 others and the top two are 6-3. My team: QB: Brees RB: Ingram, Lacy, Lynch, West WR: Jeffery, Allen Robinson, Larry Fitz, Martavis, Diggs, Allen Hurns TE: Witten and Reed Kicker: Crosby Def: Vikings I need a QB for week 11 but seeing if some people drop a QB during this Waiver Wire. Best prospects Starks Hyde Matthews Ellington M. Wallace A. Blue Tate Fleener Lafell Hoyr Bridgewater Watson R. Randle N. Washington Beckham Aiken J. White Others but don't want to list them all so if you might think of others that would upgrade my team feel free to say them. Or even who to trade for thanks
  10. Standard scoring please pick two WR AND RB and one flex. RB: Eddie Lacy vs. Panthers TJ Yeldon vs. Jets Ingram vs. Tennessee WR: Diggs vs. STL Allen Hurns vs. Jets Allen Robinson vs. Jets Alshon Jeffery vs. San Diego Martavis Bryant vs. Oakland Then pick one flex please.

I could drop Witten because Reeds bye was week 8 but he might get hurt again.
  15. My league is 12 teams standard scoring. My line up right now start two RB 2WR and one flex QB: Brees RB: Ingram, Lynch WR: Alshon, Fitzgerald TE: Witten K: Crosby DEF: Vikings On my bench I have Diggs Lacy West Then A. Robinson, A. Hurns and Reed are on byes So do I make some changes like diggs instead of Martavius? Or do I go with west. Most likely setting Lacy waiting for him to do something. Help please.
  16. 12 team standard scoring. My team Drew Brees RB: Lacy, Lynch, M. Gordon, Blount WR: Alshon, Fitzgerald, Hurns, A. Robinson, Snead TE: Witten, J. Cameron Who would I drop for him? I'm thinking Melvin Gordon. Also diggs is on the waiver wire. Should I drop Snead for diggs or not?
  17. I'm somewhat new to ff after only playing a couple of years so wanted to run this by the vets. 12 player ppr league. Today, get a message from the commissioner that a player in our league isn't changing his lineup to account for bye weeks and such. This non-contender is currently 0-5. So commissioner has decided to poll the league to see if HE should 'fill in' the byes for the rest of the year using players on this gentleman's bench. So far 3 votes to fill it, 2 votes against (including mine). I think it's no- Brainer collusion (especially since the yes voters have already played this non- contender and won) but wanted to make sure I wasn't losing it. Thoughts?
  18. Can someone help me understand the waivers. I have been runing a small 8 person league in Australia for the past couple of years. The majority of our league rules are simply left with the NFL Fantasy defaults, including waivers. I can't figure out why 2 team owners were able to pick up players from FA 1 hour prior to the waivers being processed and why one of the dropped players (defensive team) has now gone on to waiver for 7 days instead of the standard 2 days like everyone else. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please? I have team owners asking me questions that I don't have the answers for.
  19. I have a trade that has been accepted by another player in my league. I would be trading away latavius murray, Amari cooper, T.J. Yeldon, and zach ertz for Aaron rodgers and Leveon Bell(this is a standard non ppr league). The person i am trading with has Andy dalton (currently the #1 fantasy qb) who he trusts and is satisfied with so he is willing to trade Aaron Rodgers. He has other solid running backs such as Isiah Crowell, Chris Ivory, and Melvin Gordon and would be receiving Latavius Murray who he believes in and has a high value for as i do (he is currently the 11th ranked fantasy running back in our league) and T.J. Yeldon who would be a valuable depth player and possibly a flex starter on his team in and losing Leveon bell at the running back position. On top of this, his current tight end is Owen Daniels who has had 2 or 3 receptions in 3 out of 4 games so far and would be receiving a most-likely better tight end option in Zach Ertz. As far as Amari Cooper goes, his current receivers are Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Desean Jackson, Eric Decker, Martavis Bryant, and Doug Baldwin. Amari Cooper would give him an consistent, productive starter at wr every week and someone he can constantly rely on for production. In our league, we have a rule that if a trade seems fishy (there have been problems with collusion and people selling each other players or just giving up and giving away good players for low prices in our league in the past). If anyone thinks it could be collusion, the league votes and in this case everyone voted against our trade happening claiming that it is a completely unfair trade. I can see two sides to this thought as i think the trade is fair and makes sense in the minds of both myself and the person i am trading with: 1. I am already the #1 team in our league and people do not want my team to improve at all. 2. They are dazzled by the flashy names. Leveon Bell and Aaron rodgers are undoubtedly some of the biggest names in the Nfl, and the other players in my league seem to be overreacting to the fact that I would be receiving two stars and the other team does not receive any true superstars. What they do not realize is that the players I would be trading away still have value as the recipient would be receiving two good running backs (one immediate starter) and a very good and consistent receiver as well in amari cooper as well as an upgrade at tight end. So what do you all think. Is it a fair trade in these circumstances? Or, are the other players in our league right that this is an unfair trade and potentially "collusion"? Thank you for your opinions I really need some outside opinions since i feel that this is a fair trade but everyone is against me!
  20. Qb: Brees RB: Lacy,Lynch,Melvin Gordon, Blount WR: Jeffery,Tate, Fitzgerald, Robinson, Garçon, Martavius Te: Witten, J. Cameron Then I need a flex position. Standard scoring

    Is It Collusion?

Would it be collusion to initiate a trade with someone who has 1st priority on the waiver wire so that they would pick up the player that you want off waivers and then you would trade for that player?

  23. It pains me to say this but after 10+ years, I will be moving our league from myfantasyleague this year to another site. If it were up to me, I would stay there forever. I love the site and the customization. However, more and more of my league owners are managing their teams solely from their smartphones. Many have complained for years about the MFL app (or lack thereof) and how easy their ESPN/Yahoo leagues are to manage remotely. I've stuck to my guns for a long time but am finally relenting. So, in lieu of MFL, what would the next best option be? Our league used to be at CBSSports before switching to MFL. I've played in many ESPN leagues over the years and I am not a big fan. I haven't been in a yahoo league in a long time. I've browsed fleaflicker and RTSports but never played in a league there. The main features in order of priority would be: 1. Mobile app - as mentioned above, this is the main reason for the switch 2. Online auction - the site MUST support this 3. Customization - No site will compare to MFL in terms of customization but the more the better Money isn't a huge factor. While cheaper is nice, we don't mind paying for a site if it is actually better.
  24. Hey All, SO here is the deal. I am the commissioner of a very solid, deep rostered, KEEPER fantasy football league. We have been going for several years, have a 20 page constitution which everyone has signed and followed and so on. This has guided has through many league issues but we are now stuck on an issue of collusion. A large portion of the league things a player has attempted to collude, a large portion does not, and there are a few bystanders on the fence. With that said I have come to the Huddle community for advice. Historically in our league the playoff teams attempt to bolster rosters for the push, while some teams attempt to tank for draft picks next season. This has resulted in over payment at the trade deadline, and "under payment" in the off season. It has also resulted in a handful of teams golding onto 5, 6 or 7 eligible keepers (only allowed 4) and looking to make offseason moves to recover lost picks from last years deadline. For example. A player who may go for a 1st round pick at the deadline has generally gone in the realm of a 5th-8th round pick in the offseason. Reason being its better to get something than nothing. A manger in our team, lets call him Manager1, has decided to try and rally the troops to change this during this years offseason. He put out a post with a proposition to the league that the managers holding extra keepers gang up, or come together and do not trade their extra keepers for anything less than 1st rounder to try and truck over the teams that sold keepers for picks at last years deadline. He than continues to say that "Brees and Stafford are for sale" For all managers who sold last year or hold multiple first round picks the price is a first rounder, for all other mangers it is significantly cheaper. The posts are as follows: have a proposition to the league... well atleast to the other managers with too many keepers... DO NOT trade them to Joshua Chisvin or Ryan Silber or whoever else is hoarding 1st round picks unless they're willing to give them up... if you're going to trade top players for hondaty picks I encourage you to trade them to any of the other managers... let's start a trend of making this a lesson to those who tank and hoard picks... it's a disgrace that our commissioner is the poster boy for tanking... let's all unite and let them use all their first round picks on hondaty players unless they're willing to trade them away! and continued with: With that being said... Brees and Stafford are up for grabs... willing to package them with Bryant Hopkins or Ellington... if Joshua Chisvin or Ryan Silber or Dean Gariepy are interested it'll cost a first round pick... any other manager can have them for much cheaper... Msg me with an offer... looking to offload EVERY potential keeper I have... doesn't matter what I get back... just as long as one of the hoarders don't get them without trading a top pick This is where an issue comes first with the "proposition" and than follows with the stance that he will work with other teams to make it cheaper for them and harder for the teams that hold high picks. NFL.com fantasy football states: Throughout the season, owners have the opportunity through the draft, free agency and trades, to acquire players to their roster. In most scenarios, these transactions are completed with relative fairness to all owners. In some cases, however, there are owners who transgress the fair play guidelines of the game. Regardless of intention, these unfair league actions are prohibited. Some examples: colluding with other owners for the benefit of certain teams over others is strictly prohibited..... Fantasysportshero.com states: "Collusion" happens when two or more teams in the league conspire together to effect some outcome in the league. They also go further into it with a category called "Collusion and the gang up" Collusion and the Gang Up Collusion might happen when two or more teams combine to cause enough controversy and trouble that league rules are changed or the league is simply disrupted. Two or more friends decide to create a controversy or make one-sided trades, daring the league commissioner to veto the trade. This kind of pressure can ruin the fun for everyone, and when you have a group of teams bent on disrupting the season, it's best to just give them their money back and find new people to take over those teams (or let the "league" do it, in the last instance). So the ends result in my eyes I see this as collusion or the very least an attempt to colluding with other willing parties (and there are, they have posted publicly about it). If one team is going to either a) gang up with others to alter values, offer trades to some teams for a 1st pick and others for significantly cheaper just for the sole fact to try and screw over teams that strategized for the future last year resulting in it being easier for a manger that spent all of his picks its colluding. Would love to hear the Huddle communities thoughts and insights on whether or not this is collusion or an attempt to collude. Thanks Huddle. You are our leagues Ted Wells.
  25. One of the things I feel is lacking from daily games is the social aspects that come with a traditional fantasy league. So I was thinking maybe a daily fantasy sports contest with a snake draft format might be more enjoyable but I wanted to hear peoples thoughts on that. It would have to be a little different than a typical daily game. Obviously no bench, just drafting starting rosters to keep the draft rounds down. I was also thinking there could be 12 or 10 team leagues but it might be more fun and faster drafts to create weekly leagues of 2-8 teams. Here are a few examples: Game 1: Head-to-head (2 player) weekly, snake drafts where you can draft players from a single game, a couple games or all the games for the week to make things interesting. Example: something you could play at a bar watching Monday Night Football. Could play against friends and turn 1 game into double or nothing or best of three if you want. Game 2: A weekly snake draft with friends or randoms with 2-8 players, winner take all. Game 3: Tournament style, head-to-head snake draft for an entire season. Or a week long tourney (5 head-to-head games): Thursday night, Sunday morning, Sunday Afternoon, Sunday Night, Monday Night. You could draft all at once or at designated times from your phone. Curious to hear if people would be interested in playing a format like this. I would like to know... 1) Does this sound like fun, something you would enjoy playing, or a totally stupid idea 2) Would you prefer to pay to play this game (like DraftKings/FanDuel/MFL10) or.... would you rather/only play if it was free. If the idea sucks let me know. If you have any suggestions/questions/comments let me know.
