Rugarthium Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 Hi, I have been struggling the past couple of seasons to find Auction Results. There are only two posted here at the huddle. Its easy to find mock drafts but tough to find auction results (real or mock). I am in a 14 team auction league in a couple of weeks and have been trying to figure out how much the values shift compared to the huddle's projection. Any help would be appreciated? mroban Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 My leauge is a keeper league so its tough to say. The top 4 RBs were available and they all went for the same price with Holmes a tad lower. But with an auction cap of $170 the top backs all went for $63-65 with Edge going for 65 because he was the last top back available. Then Ahman Green went for $52. I figured Green would go much lower than that and didnt think I would have to pay through the nose to get Edge (but I was getting bid up by my main competition in my division - smart play and I had to draft him). Gamesmanship like this weighs heavily with the top players. I found most players went for around the right values though. There were the usual late bargains after everyone ran out of cash. I got McCareins for $2 and Colbert for $2. Obviously the stars and near stars werent going for bargains. Just some good solid value at the end for small bucks.
