frenzal rhomb
Simple - who will post the better fantasy numbers this year?
Whiskey Pimp
Well, since it's almost completely unanimous that LT goes 1st and SA 2nd in every draft that everyone seems to think LT will score more.
Outshined
Simple - who will post the better fantasy numbers this year? 958002[/snapback] It depends on the scoring system. If you get points for receptions, LT will easily score more. SA was the highest scoring player in my league last year. (That is with basic performance scoring.) Seattle's schedule is easier and Alexander could easily do it again. Edited August 30, 2005 by Outshined
Chavez
One thing to note - Alexander is playing for a contract. Always important.
darin3
Honestly, I think it'll be close. As noted in an earlier post, if your league gives points (half or full) for receptions, LT's gotta be your guy.
frenzal rhomb
No points for receptions. I have the one pick and want to take SA. However, I don't want to be the idiot to pass on LT2
SteelBunz
While SA's year end numbers have always been good....I find his individual games/stats to be more erratic than Tomlinson's. '02 was a tough year for SA owners. I don't think he got more than your #3 WR points for 8 of those games. '03 evened out more....then he had that goose egg every other week going again last year for a while. If all stats are even.....I always go for consistancy. I'd rather count on 18-20 pts a week than go on that rollercoaster ride. 4 TDs and a whopping 45 points.....then 6 points the following week. SA's umbers are erratic....yet, everyone sees his ending yrs #'s. I too rather have a consistent 18-20 then 45-6!
Chief Dick
The one who scores the most points over the course of the season will be the best.
bushwacked
Don't outhink yourself and go with your gut. I would pick LT but SA's but I do not remeber SA's numbers being erratic whatsoever last year.

sundaynfl
If Drew Brees season wasn't a mirage last year, I have to say LT....
Grits and Shins
This is only a relevant question if you are drafting number 1 ... otherwise you draft the one that did not get drafted number

Not only running for the tittle, but running for his next contract. He needs to prove himself once again.
Seahawk37
It's a toss up. Both of them are gonna put up outstanding numbers. I am just gonna be a homer and say Alexander.

Zia
in yardage leagues its no contest for LT2. in TD heavy, or basic (TD only) leagues SA gets close, and might even overtake him on the whole season. but even if you are of the opinion SA is better, i wouldnt say so out loud in your league. you could simply drat him at 1 and sell him for a kings ransom, you should be able to net something like: owens + trent green + 4th round pick, or maybe even better. (replace player names to your liking or scoring system). assuming a snake draft on a 12 team league you still get to draft very valuable rbs at the turn rd 2/3 netting you a core of players to dream about.
