peepinmofo
Is Jamal Lewis still considered a 1st round pick? I see some are a bit worried about him, but me personally, Im not. I have Taylor just in case. BUT...He fell to me half way thru the 2nd round. How normal is that? Wheres he been going in your drafts? We do auction draft and he went for a price similar to backs like Dillon, R Johnson, etc etc.
DuckSurprise
I got him at 2.03 in a 12 team redraft recently, also picked up Chester Taylor late as insurance. Some concern about the ankle though is maybe lessening his value a touch.
yo mama
He's a risky early-to-mid 1st round pick. More so if your league rewards points for receptions. But as a late 1st round/early 2nd, he's solid value. Handcuffing Taylor is a must, however. Edited September 1, 2005 by yo mama
Swampnuts
I got Jamal with the 2.04 pick to pair with McGahee, and felt pretty good about that.
GTKeeper
I drafted 6th.... and I got McCalister and J. Lewis as my 1, 2 picks..... I have a sick backfield
kraftykraft
Jamal Lewis went with the 10th pick in our draft (11th really, considering that McGahee was a keeper in our draft) and I think that is a good spot for him. So if you got him with about the 14th or 15th pick in your draft, that is really good value there.
Zia
want a new opinion? draft him late first round, pray he lights up the boards in the first 2 weeks, when teams still play "wait and see" defense if boller might really be able to throw, then sell him at high value some some combo of a 1st tier WR and a 2nd tier RB or something along those lines and let the other owner worry about defenses stacking against him. yes, i know he managed that some seasons, but he MUST break down under that load some day. Bring Back Pat!!!
I picked him up at 2.02, but he's my #1 back b/c Manning slid to me at 1.

TheCMB
As someone who took him at 1.06 - hell yeah I think he's a first rounder! I know he's risky - I just liked all the other guys available even less, including Deuce (and who wants to watch the Saints?), McGahee and Dillon... Managed to get Taylor, Dunn, Duckett & Jordan - so hopefully I'll be ok even if Jamal's a bust.
spain
He is definitely a 1st round pick. He should not slide past 1.9. I think he is a great value anywhere after mid 1st round...
scorp25
great late first round pick, even better if you get him in the second.

yo mama
No injury concerns? 963779[/snapback] Of course there are. But that's what Chestor Taylor is for.
