Favre plays through an ankle injury

The News

Packers quarterback Brett Favre left Thursday's preseason game against the Titans briefly after injuring his ankle but returned to throw a touchdown pass. He finished the game with 49 passing yards and one score.

Our View

A sprained ankle isn't going to keep a guy like Favre off the field for very long. The fact he retuned to the game to throw a touchdown is a pretty good indication he'll be just fine for the start of the regular season.

In that game he was determined to put up 7 points. He is a pro and too determined to go down easily.

I respect Favre but as a Bear fan I hate him too...One thing I am sick of is seeing sh_t like this though: "Favre plays through an ankle injury", "Favre Plays Through Finger Injury", "Favre Plays Through Hip Injury Throughout Career"....Blah, Blah, Blah....Yea, its refreshing that he is a tough QB in an age of wussies but why cant he just be a wussy, just once..???

As bad as it is to say I hope Favre gets a Sexy Rexy injury this year....I watch every game just waiting to see someone hit him hard....This could be the year..!!!

I hope so, too. Nothing greater in this world than seeing the Packers fail miserably. I'd like Favre alot more without that F-ing G on his helmet.

What's a "Sexy Rexy"? What kind of a sick person are you? How would you like it if someone wished you'd get into a car accident on your way to work?

If the guy played in my division, I'd just hope my team could be better and just beat his team, fair and square...

Favre has had a hard couple years is a good guy, a great competitor, great for the league and one of the best QBs in history.

I hope you get herpies.

Bears fans never forget. Instead of getting on Brett save your anger for Salaam and Enis and Cade McNown and David Terrell and...

It stands for Green Bay. Get that "C" off the Bears helmets first then.
