Broncos cuts

A few of the notable cuts include rb Quentin Griffen, qb Matt Mauck, and lb Terry Pierce.

 

Pierce was a SECOND ROUND PICK a couple years ago, and he is being cut. This just goes to prove my theory that Denver's scouting dept. S-U-C-K-S a$$.

Or maybe they have better talent this year than they thought at LB. Pierce has been a good player for them. That one really suprised me.

 

Don't forget the late roung pick of Van Pelt. I think that more than makes up for Mauck.

Scouting is not a dependable science. Many teams do these things but then some of the best players are found in later rounds.

 

Look at Tom Brady, Terell Davis, Joe Montana...

Curtis Enis, Cade McNown and a whole raft of other Chicago draftees would indicate otherwise.

Don't forget about Jeremy LaSueur. Another wasted 3rd rounder. The last 3 drafts have not been pretty for Broncos fans. Other than George Foster and DJ Williams, there's a stunning lack of even moderately good players. Tatum Bell (hopefully) will be one day, but that's it.
