Chief Dick
I think you have a coin toss between those guys. I think you go with Rod Smith, because their quarterback is the lesser of the evils. Then wait on the other guys to see how their offenses develop. You know Denver will have a good running game to offset the passing game.
HowboutthemCowboys
agreed ..go with Smith
irish
bump i wasn't even thinking rod smith at 1st until these 2 guys said something. i thought evans or Lloyd- need more input
Haskel
I agree, go with RSmith...I think it's a QB question more than anything else. If we're talking talent, I like Evans the best of the WRs you listed. But both Evans & Lloyd have big questionmarks at the QB position whereas you know the Denver offense will be clicking with both the rushing and passing game with Plummer at the helm. Good Luck. insideout33
i agree, though i don't know about 'clicking'! rod will get his, while the other you're hoping the QB can get the ball out of thier hands.
Haskel
i agree, though i don't know about 'clicking'! 979932 I was referring to the loosest translation of the word. Nonetheless, I'll take Plummer over a new QB or the SF offense anyday.
SaintsFanUnfortunately
I will be the contrary guy and will say go with Brandon Lloyd. I expect the Rams to roll and the 9ers to have to chunk it all day long. Denver will want to run it playing at the fish.
Runner
I like Rod Smith. Evans could pan out nicely this year, but you have to wait to see how Losman plays. Lloyd would be my 2nd choice, Evans third, then Taylor at the bottom. SMITH!
Balzac
Rod Smith is the safest bet here. Miami's secondary ain't what it used to be - they play somewhat soft underneath and Rod should end up with plenty of receptions and yards. I Like Soup
Smith all day long. He is the #1 option in Denver and his quarterback is respectable at least. More than you can say with the others (well, Rattay has good days but they are the 49ers!).
Bonehand
Smith all day long. He is the #1 option in Denver and his quarterback is respectable at least. 980537 Didn't that torch kind of get passed to Lelie the end of last season? I will be even more contrary & say Evans. He's risky, but really came on end of last year, & he will get his looks. A lot of people are sitting him right now though. Nicker
Go with Rod Smith this time, he will get his receptions. As the year goes on, I think you might find yourself going with Evans if Losman can develop into a decent QB. Evans is the deep threat on their team. Grits and Shins
Rod Smith = safe start Brandon Lloyd = swing for the fences start
