bluedog
Larry Johnson, RB KC News: The Kansas City Star reports that Larry Johnson could be facing some legal problems over an incident that happened at a bar on Saturday. Analysis: Stay tuned over the next few days as jail time, as well as a possible suspension, could be in his future. This is still in the very early stages of course and you certainly shouldn't make any moves. Johnson denies that anything happened, but you will want to keep an open ear. muck
Domestic disturbance. Apparently, he was cheating on his woman, and the two ladies got in a fight and he tried to break it up...and may have hurt one of the ladies in the process. Right now, it's a lot of "he said/she said". Edited September 13, 2005 by muck

jcc
From the KC Star: When told of the complaint before receiving his ticket Monday, Johnson said “I don’t know anything about it. I was there. I was there with a friend. What you said was not me. If it was me, I wouldn’t be talking to you right now because it would be a violation of my probation and I would be in jail.” Johnson agreed to enter into a domestic violence diversion program in February 2004 after he was charged with aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery in an incident that allegedly took place during the previous NFL season, his rookie year with the Chiefs. Johnson County prosecutors had alleged that the then 24-year-old Johnson slapped his girlfriend and threatened her with a handgun in an early-morning argument at his home in December 2003.
