mhayhurst
I think who ever wins this match will also take the SEC title thi year. Being the HUGE Gators fan that I am, I of course am pulling for Florida. I think with replay (not bitter from last year b/c it got Zook out of there) will play a factor and stat for stat , player for player I think the Gators have the Vols beat. But as we all know that means "nothing" in college footballl. Any thoughts guys?
spain
Vols offensive and defensive lines will dominate and control the line of scrimmage. I like the Vols to cover the number and to win this game outright. Tennessee Volunteers 28 Florida Gators
Glabra
I like Meyer's chances vs Fulmer. Should be a great game as always. I love SEC night games.

I like your score although you will need to reverse the teams to read UF 24, Vols 17, although I think it will be more like UF 27, Vols 17. I just bought a house recently and the previous owners were truely my "mortal enimies". The husband was a Vols fan and his wife was a FSU fan. Needless to say I didn't inform them of my loyalties until after the closing, in which they were actually kind of pissed. I smiiled and said "See you in September". The Gator flag is waiving proudly outside today.

untateve
I have a bias in this game as well. I've been a little concerned about our slow starts against wyoming and la tech and the number of special teams miscues. However, we've had two "preseason" games while the vols had a week off. I think that should work in our favor. There's also an excitement in Gainesville that I haven't seen in several years (I was at the La Tech game last week). Homefield will be a huge advantage. I give Florida a small advantage and pick them to win 20-17.
theeohiostate
No idea why they brought in Clausen for the last drive of the half. Anyone catch the ESPN piece on the youngest Clausen brother, Jeff..?? I think is his name. He's useing Big Bens and Rivers QB offseason QB coach, which stated this kid as a junior in high school has more tools at the position then anyone he's coached. Both Clausen brothers agreed he was better than they are now.

Primetime9287
What a boring game, almost as bad as FSU/Miami but I at least enjoyed that one for some reason!
mhayhurst
Go Gators! Yeah I saw that piece on the youngest Clausen and that guy looks amazing. Hoping he won't go to Tenn. I hate to agree with a Nole, but I do agree with you that the game was not the most exciting in the world. Gone were the big passes and left was the same TE in motion run play about 20 times. It got so bad that I could call the play from my recliner. My ulcer is finely calming down. That being said we owe everything to our Special Teams and Def!!! It sucks we lost our 3WR, "Bubba", and McDonald. Hopefully their injuries are not as bad as I think they are. But all was worth it to bring back some respect to thte SWAMP! Under Urban 3-0, beating Tenn in the Swamp...this is shaping up to be a great colege season. Go Gators! Go Gators! 999734[/snapback] Yeah as a Gator fan Im sure the game was great, just as us beating Miami 10-7 was AWESOME! I was to busy watching the BC/FSU game anyway so it didnt really matter to me but the parts I did see werent all that exciting. Good win for the Gators though. If they get past UGA and LSU, an undefeated FSU/UF swamp visit is not out of question. FSUs only tough tasks left are @ UVA & @ Clemson. NC State will be a good game too. Other than that it is Syracuse, Duke, Wake Forest, & Maryland. Good luck as Im not one of the Nole fans that HATE the Gators. I HATE the Canes with a passion. I like when UF loses but it isnt something I wish for. (I pray "the U" loses every game every year)
