I realize I never post over here on the 'College Football' section, but ever were a time for it, its now. HUGE WIN for Wisconsin tonight over Michigan. Calhoun is a stud and I hope they give him 40 touches every game, because he's our entire offense. Our D kept us in this one and gave the offense solid field position in 2nd half, typical Wisconsin football. Calhoun and the offensive line did the rest. Any other Wisco fans out there??????????????????????????????????????????

I love the fact that they were completely under the radar this year. I know the season is early, but the 4-0 start is great considering the played a tough Bowling Green team and Michigan. I had to hear all about the Iowa pre-season hype from friends and I kept my mouth shut...until now of course.

Wisconsin and Mich St. proving to be this years sleeper teams in the Big 10.

Nice win.

I would throw Minnesota into that mix too. They beat Purdue in a game where Minnesota just doesn't win. Gophers don't win those kinds of games. They choke it away. Cupito looked like darn Tom Brady. They can run on pretty much anybody. They have the best O line in the nation (Yes I said best). Certainly best that nobody has heard of. They have the 2nd best rb, (behind Bush, sorry Peterson fans, but Maroney ownz him), and there defense looks to be improved somewhat. Next week will be a VERY NICE test for Minnesota, as they go into Happy Valley. No reason Minnesota shouldnt win that one. Congrats to the Badgers and the Spartans. Michigan is in trouble. Reminds me of 1990, when they lost a lot of games early, but by the end of the year they had things rolling. Hopefully for Wolverine fans that will be the case this year.

Congrats badgers, Its gonna be a long year for my Wolverines, Something just

isnt right in Ann Arbor, I dont know if the injurys, or the players we lost, coaching or what, but Michigan's offense has been struggling. The way the big ten is lining up, MIchigan could have there first losing season in a long time, hopefully Carr can right the ship, but right now, theres something not right. Maybe a win this saturday will get things going, but right now, I just dont see it.

I grew up in Michigan and am hence a Wolverines fan. So I say Blecch to this... It was a great game though. Michigan State, on the other hand, is really loking like the best team in the Big Ten this year. Wow!!

With White and Chryst listed as "co-coordinators", are you really sure who's calling what plays?

Pretty sure, yep. This topic has been covered quite a bit by the local media. Chryst is calling plays from the booth; White is down on the sideline.

In fact a couple weeks ago Chryst was joking with Stocco saying that he was hoping Temple would stop the run a bit better than Bowling Green did, so he could call some pass plays.

I think I read someplace that on Saturday night, WR coach Henry Mason actually suggested the QB sneak call; Chryst agreed and went with it.

Are we to assume White is on his way out?

(yes, despite the success UW has had with White manning the offense, I wouldn't shed any tears were he to go; his offense is too one-dimensional to get UW where all Badger fans would like it to be - in the title hunt, year-in and year-out. Bielema and Chryst seem to have that mindset that Alvarez and White sadly lack)

After the uneven (but still convincing, God Bless Brandon Williams) win over Indiana, UW is up to 14 in both the AP and coaches' poll.

Coupla traps next two games - Badgers NEVER play well at NU or in the Metrodome, then they go back to Camp Randall for a tough Purdue team.

If they make it through that unscathed, look out. Even with 1 loss, they're still lookin' good for a New Year's day game.
