Potential Trade

Another team in my league might be interested in moving Ricky Williams. They've got Westbrook, S. Davis and Warrick Dunn so they're able to give him up. But they're hurting pretty badly at WR.

Would you trade Bruce for Williams? Anyone think Ricky will take the starting job by end of year?

Thanks!

You can afford to take the chance if you want to... whether or not Ricky will take the starting job... I think Miami will play a lot of sets with Williams and Brown in the backfield.

Brown is a good lead blocker... which would benefit Williams carries... and Saban has mentioned his interest in using Brown in that role for Ricky.

Ricky is also in excellent physical condition.

I think Williams could be a good flex or #3 back for BYE... with potential to move up.

I think so... you can afford to take the risk with your number 3 receiver... given your depth at WR (for your #3 receiver). You are not risking much for a potentially big pickup.

If anything, I think Ricky's stock could go up and you could use him as trade bait in a few weeks to possibly pickup a better WR than Bruce.

Giving up Bruce is not a big deal.

I think its good..there is a strong possibiity that bruce doesnt make it back from turf toe (hello, Chris Brown!) Whether or not Ricky produces big stats, he will produce more than Bruce probably. Curtis and MacDonald are filling in nicely for Bruce at this poiint
