wolfdigger
OK, I'm 6-3 and doing OK but actually scrapping out some ugly wins. I have Palmer and Holcomb at QB. MY RB's are struggling with T. Bell, J. Lewis, G. Jones, S.Gado MY WR are Harrison, C. Johnson, J. Smith and G. Lewis. Another team has lost Culpepper and has no WR, but has Jordan, T.Jones and M. Anderson at RB. I am thinking of offering Palmer and Smith for Jordan and McNair. Should I try this and if he declines should I sweeten the offer with Harrison? Harrison may be sitting during the playoffs! tonorator
jordan is a great guy to target, but no way i would be giving up palmer. harrison for jordan would be strong, but before i would do that, i'd take a flyer and see if he would take jamal and j. smith for jordan ... better yet, g.lewis and j.lewis for jordan (but he probably won't bite on that). msmith379
I would defintely not try to give up Palmer. See what you can get for lesser first but it is going to be tough to get him to part with Jordan with Jones being hurt.
wolfdigger
Thanks guys! I'll try to leave Palmer out of it, he may be desperate but I don't think J. Lewis will do it. He needs a QB with McNair on a bye. Maybe I could try Holcomb and Harrison for Jordan and then pick up Bollinger as a bye week for Palmer? wolfdigger
I don't want to give up Harrison for Jordan right now so I went on to bigger fish. Another team has Brees and A. Johnson on the block, but also has Alexander. I could offered Palmer, Harrison and J. Lewis for Brees, Alexander and AJ What do you think? splotchman
You can try to get Alexander, but I'd be stunned if the other owner goes for that. But what the hell, give it a shot....
wolfdigger
Yea, I would be surprised too, but it may get him thinking and his other back is Tiki so I could make a weaker offer for him. We'll see. Thanks for responding!
Footballjoe
Could you trade J. Smith for M. Anderson and use a RBBC type system. I would not normally do this but lets face it, they both put up big numbers and this way you keep Palmer. Maybe someone else could comment on this advise.
