My first WDIS dilemma for this particular team, can't seem to decide who to pair with SA:

T. Barber V Vikings

or

L. Johnson V @ Bills

Tough to bench Tiki but Jacobs vultures the goalline TD's and LJ is now the man...thoughts?

Thanks

There is no way you can bench LJ here. No way.

Greetings Oh Hugh One :D

This will be a long question, hopefully you wont charge me time & 1/2 :D

I was a T.O. owner. He was covering my lousy QB numbers, averaging about 11 points per week for me. I REALLY need some more firepower at QB (we start TWO per week).

I have been offered Brady for Chad Johnson.

Brady has some very nice matchups: @MIA, v NO, @ KC. Couple with my other QBs I can put up two solid starters per week:

Week 10: Plummer @ Oak (dont laugh, its all I've got), Brady @ MIA

Week 11: Leftwich @ TN, Brady v NO

Week 12: Leftwich @ AZ, Brady @ KC

Week 13: Leftwich @ CLE, Brees v OAK

Week 14 Matchups not so hot, but my WRs and RBs have EXCELLENT matchups so I should be able to carry through (RBs James, Dunn, SJax, KJones, Rhodes)

Chad Johnson has a brutal schedule coming up: Bye, v IND, v BAL, @ PIT. I think I can cover him through a combination of R. Brown, Wilford, Coles, and T. Glenn, they have enough good matchups through Week 14 that I should get sufficient production.

What do you think?

PS Will you take a 3rd party out-of-state check? :D

Another $5 question - another league ...

Pick 2 -

Gado at Atl (One week wonder?)

Caddy vs Wash (or is he still parked on the sidewalk?)

K Jones vs Ariz (Injured?)

B Jacobs vs Minn (will he steal Tiki's goal line touches?)

Thanks

Caddy. No doubt.

I've got Jordan and Jackson as my starters with Foster, Parker, Moore and G. Jones as reserves.  I could get M. Faulk for D. Foster from the S. Davis owner.  This is also a keeper league, so Foster has more value, but is it smarter to get Faulk in case of a Jackson injury or keep Foster?  Thanks.

Also, who would you want as you #3 WR the rest of the year?

Wilford

Lewis

B. Johnson

Stick with what you have. It would be stupid to back up a young RB with an old RB while giving away another young RB to do it. Plus you have the depth with Parker and Foster to overcome a Jackson injury.

Lewis or Johnson. Boldin had another MRI, if it looks like he'll be out for a longer time, Johnson has nice value, if not, take Wilford.

I'm gonna have to break into my kid's piggy bank :D, but here goes!

Start 2 of these usual suspects: Scoring on Sig Line

Randy Moss v Den

L Fitzgerald v Det

J Galloway v Was

Much Obliged    :D

I'd start Moss and Fitz.

Hugh One-

I've been mulling this over all week...Orton or Leftwich this week?

Normally that would be a no-brainer, but Leftwich has Baltimore this week, while Orton has the Niners at home....

Should I play the player or the matchup??

Thanks,

1137702

Leftwich has Baltimore without Lewis and Reed. Orton, well, he's just not very good, regardless of the matchup.

Do you take PayPal??

I need a RB to replace Priest...

Performance scoring +1 per rush/rec, +5 for 100+ yrds rush/rec

Can only have three RBs must start two.

Mine are:

Priest (IR)

Larry Johnson (Whew glad I got the handcuff in time)

T. Jones

Here are the RBs I can reasonably target, either through trade or WW:

DD

CuMar

Stephen Davis

Mike Anderson (inexplicably on the WW)

T. Bell (likewise)

Willie Parker (Just dumped today, that three RB limit play two is a killer)

C. Benson (WW)

The problem is I HAVE to start whomever I pick this weekend, unless T. Jones is a go. Should I just handcuff him with Benson?

Thanks Hugh!

D. Davis is the best RB of the bunch, but he might not play this weekend.

Anderson and Bell are both nice options this week, but will be hit or miss which one gets the carries.

S. Davis will score TD's, but not get many yards. A nice option as well.

Benson is the worst option imo, unless it's a keeper.

Willie Parker is hurt, won't help you this week.

So, grab Bell for this week, then drop him and pick up D. Davis.

pick 3 (tough):

Keyshawn @ philly

Lelie @ oakland

Branch @ miami

Curtis @ seattle

Engram vs rams

Joe J vs Rams...

Thx

1137760

Engram is good.

Curtis with Holt and Bruce back is bad.

I hate to start 2 WR's on the same team, but I think JJ's your next best option.

Branch is nice.

Hi Hugh...checks in the mail  :D

Ok looking for some insight on this option:

Brandon Jacobs or Brian Finnerian?

I know Brandon will only be used in goal line situations but again they are playing the Vikings...he could be good for TD +, however, Finnerian has been a target as of last game, can he get the same amount of looks vs GB?

What do you think?

Thanks!!    :D

1137765

Against the horrendous Packers secondary, I'd give Finneran a shot. Jacobs is hit or miss, he might get you a TD, or he might get you nothing. Finneran should at least be good for some yardage, and if you get lucky a TD as well.

Howdy, trade question.

I've been offered Moulds, Jamal Lewis and Droughns for Curtis Martin and Donald Driver.

My obvious output comes from the Alexander/SSmith/CJ triplets. Are Moulds and Droughns upswings likely to continue and enable them to help me in the playoffs? The other benefit I could see that at least Lewis would be a starter on my bench. My other backup RB's aren't starters. So watchya think?

Hey Hugh,

:D 1 point per 10 Rush/rec, 6 per TD, 1 ppr.

Who would you start for my flex?

D Davis (@IND) - inj?

M Pittman (WAS) - ???

W Parker (CLE) - inj?

Kennison (@BUF) - inconsistent?

Mason (@JAX) - Horrible Offense?

R Brown (DAL) - Will he have rookie woes?

Right now I have DD plugged in, but I am not sure about his injury status. :D

Also, how do you think BAL D will fair against CLE this week? There are no options left on the WW, so I would have to propose a trade to get another D, since Cincy is on bye this week. Should I try and make a trade or just sit put and hope BAL steps up? :D

I need to decide to start one of these three..... Wilford (Hm) Bal, Bryant@Pit, or Givens@Mia but he's been limited in practice? But injury reports from NE are alway's hard to figure out? Bye week or TJ would start....Let me have it......Not very good choice's thats why I need help.....

I'm leaning towards Wilford because he's hot but not sure?
