What is it 5 of the last 6 years the 'Clones have beat the Hawaks? Must be a fluke! BTW, the Hawks didn't get beat by ISU, they got spanked! If you saw my post about the game earlier, you'd know that I was not in denial about the game. It sucks losing to terrible team. It makes me feel like a$$ so you should be proud of that. And get your facts straight, Iowa won the previous two years, and congratulations, before that Iowa State beat Iowa during the most miserable years in 20 years for Iowa. When you win a couple conference championships, and go to a couple new years day bowl games, and beat Iowa, oh say... 15 straight times, the come talk to me, until then, enjoy another DECEMBER bowl game a$$hole. Granted I am a huge KU fan so I am little biased, but they are not terrible, not great by any means, but not terrible. If they had an offense at all then they would be a good team. Considering how bad they have been for A LONG TIME, Mangino has done some good things in Lawrence and there is something to look forward to in years to come. I won't sit hear and argue with anyone that KU is better then Iowa State, because they are not, but to say that a team is terrible when their defense is ranked 19th overall and 5th in rushing (pretty impresive considering Texas put up 300+ yrds on us and we still are at 91 yrds/game (which should go down a little bit after this weekends stats get figured )) is a little over the top. If I am permitted to address you then I would say that it truly sucks to be a Cyclone fan when they continuously do crap like this, but since I actually graduated from ISU I am stuck rooting for them. It's hard to live in the shadow of such greatness, but we at least have the satisfaction that when we actually played the game.....we won! Since, my life does not revolve around living in the past, I may have had my facts blurred, but we did win 5 or so straight so I think it may be 6 of the last 8! As for the KU Hawks, congrats and thank you for winning with class. Good luck in your Bowl Game and I am praying for it to be against Iowa!
