So, it looks like pizza delivery or chinese take-out. I'll kick back for a few hours on Sunday to watch the Cat's and Falc's. MY pick for the week is for the Eagles to play early spoiler, and take the Seahawks down in Philly. Seahawks 23 Eagles 28 Bon Appetite and good luck on the Homer front and FF wise-Peace PD. Chief Dick Posted December 3, 2005 Share Posted December 3, 2005 This is a big weekend in Chief-land, since we are playing the Broncos. Thus, the smoker will be fired up. On the menu: 1. 6 slabs of babyback ribs. 2. 10 pound pork tenderloin. 3. Sausage. 4. Chicken. All of these will get some sort of rub and/or marinade. Hasn't been decided yet how we will be making them. We do have a big tub of cherry wood to use for the smoker that I cut several months ago. Time to break it out. The only negative is that it is supposed to be downright cold and nasty Sunday, so heat control is going to be a HUGE factor. Don't worry--we'll manage. Decided to treat myself since the two games we attended last year, Chiefs/Broncos and Bears/Packers ae on and we won't be at either. edit: Oh, I will be drinking as well. Maker's on the rocks.
