Perch, the avy brings up a Q for me: is it just a dream for the Longhorns to come to the Rose? Or is it dreaming of winning a NC? The team better wake up and smell the coffee soon. But the fans can dream all they want, I suppose...

As far as the Leinart pics go, he's still single, and he should keep it that way for awhile. But that's just my opinion..

Coffeeman:

That logo was unveiled in Austin several days ago. I promise you that there has been absolutely no confusion in Austin or with UT fans as to the significance of the logo. It has been 36 years since UT won a National Championship and 22 years since they played in a game where if they win, they are National Champions. Everyone knows what the dream is. The rose is just an indication of where the dream will take place, I believe it was also inspired by a very popular picture that has been seen a great deal around Austin for the last couple of weeks.

I can understand your confusion as a PAC-10 fan, because for so many years the Rose Bowl was the ultimate destination for a PAC-10 team, and winning a NC depended on playing in the Rose Bowl. (Same as the Orange for the Big 8 & Sugar for the SEC, etc.)

As a long time UT fan, I would like to comment on the picture of Leinart. I hate to see crap like this. I am so glad that I can go have a good time, and not worry about some A**clown with a camera and pics of me being viewed by millions of people.

1) First only a handful of people really know what is happening in the Pics, speculation by anyone else is most likely the result of jealously.

2) Matt Leinart is a celebrity because he is a great football player on a very prominent team. To the best of my knowledge he has never claimed to be exceptional in any aspect that would be tarnished by going out and getting trashed (if in fact that is what is happening).

3) I would be willing to bet that most of us have done something easily as silly, dumb, stupid, weird, etc, that we would really rather not see pics of posted on the internet. The only reason they aren’t, is the vast majority of people in the world don’t give a darn about us.

4) A person’s relationship with a bf, gf or spouse is their own darn business. If you would rather not have strangers that do not know anything about you publicly discuss your relationship, then you probably should not do that to other people.

Just my opinion

That doesn't really make any sense. If your friend was the one who wrote the email, then the way it reads he wasn't at the party, so he couldnt have seen the "whole slapping thing"

This is probably the same guy who was at the hospital that Richard Gere went to for having some uh,...animal removed from his, uh,...posterior. And the guy who saw Rod Stewart's stomach get pumped back in the late 70's for uh,...human protein, and....
