The Holy Roller
yup We should add whiskey and scotch to the non gay tasters thread 1275959 Again, we'd have to have two divisions in this neck of the woods: 13 and under and 14 and over. Azazello1313
it might not be a bad idea to sorta follow the wine format...maybe take a different beer style every week and pick out a couple different examples.

Not only does your knowledge of beer make you a natural leader and us your flock, but also plays right into the laziness that is Puddy. Brewer
Az - Although my idea I would love for you to take the lead in this. Not only does your knowledge of beer make you a natural leader and us your flock, but also plays right into the laziness that is Puddy. 1290780 If some of you would like to know a little more about the styles before tasting them, pick up some of the books by Michael Jackson. No, not the monkey loving little kid loving african white guy, but the beer loving, scotch loving, bearded drunk english white guy. If anyone is interested, I'll post some of the titles tomorrow. Edit: Beer Companion - Americas microbreweries and classic beers from Europe The New World Guide to Beer Both by Michael Jackson and published by Running Press Book Publisher, Philadelphia, PA. Both of these have excellent descriptions of various beer styles, as well as some history of beer and brewing.
