junebugz
Here is the best place I've been to ... Little Palm Island Something about being on its own little island ... having a private beach to walk on ... that was just appealing. Was expensive but definitely worth it. Also for seafood in Columbus area Engine House No

Hugh B Tool
The Met or Daniels for steak though Ruth's Chris is never a bad option. Lowry's in L.A. is an old fav Z Tejas for fusion, sort of SW meets TexMex to make a whole new taste all its own. Mesa Grill rocks also 3rd Floor Fish Cafe in Kirkland(home of the NFC Champs!) is can't miss for seafood and more, God I love this place. That said I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for the better Grinder, Teriyaki and hole in the wall breakfast cafe in my travels in and around the NW. With these types, usually the smaller the establishment the better the food is in terms prep, service and quality Edited January 24, 2006 by Hugh B Tool

Azazello1313
most of my favorites are local independent private establishments, good but affordable. like benny's cantina (mexican, great green chile), el taco de mexico (really authentic mexican), cafe de brazil, tommy's thai, edgewater inn and lil' ricci's for pizza, a place called red dragon for chinese, 3 or 4 different great sushi places, racine's for breakfast. as i posted in another thread, i went to roy's (hawaiian fusion) in dallas a couple weeks ago and was very impressed on every level. wish they had one in denver. there aren't really any other chain places i like all that much, but carrabba's and pf chang's are pretty good.
