chiefjay
I know some of you will be invading the Detroit Metro Area in the coming days so I would like to offer up my basement for rent. I know most of you live in your parent's basement so it only makes sense for you to want to be in similar type surroundings. $150 a night and no I won't take a check from your parents. Cash only, no coins. I only live about 15 minutes from Ford Field so the location is pretty ideal. Bring your own Bradshaw, Lambert, and Franco posters as I don't have any Steeler Gear decorations to make you feel more at home. PM me. However, it is a good thing that you have a basement. If the Pistons win the NBA, your basement might be all that is left, after the town gets burned down. chiefjay
A detroit Fan Dising a steeler Fan on a FF board, that is f*** rich. However, it is a good thing that you have a basement. If the Pistons win the NBA, your basement might be all that is left, after the town gets burned down. 1291693 Funny thing is that it didn't get burned down in 2004 (You remember that Championship right?) nor did any other part of the town. Nor did it happen in 89 or 90 (Pistons), 97,98, 2002 (Wings), 97 (UM Football), 00 (MSU BBall), 89 (UM BBall). But your point is still pretty funny, not to mention original. Oh and for the Puddy remark, you'll also have to change any flat tires he gets during the week.
msaint
If this basement is wood-paneled and/or has mason jars filled with larvae, I'd think twice, folks.

Skippy
Will we be free to party all night, get all liquored up, chant HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO endlessly, then throw up all over the place? If so I can probably fill your entire basement and work with you for a little commission. I'm going to Puddy's. He told me that I can stay there for free and even sleep on his couch in exchange for a few "free sessions" over at pokerroom.
Puddy
I have it on good word that ChiefJay's basement is only partially finished. Still some work to be done. Come 6 blocks down the street and stay with me. Same price, plus I have a cannonball shooter for big fun before and after the game. Squeegie - if you don't want to pay cash we can work something out

rbmcdonald
Nor did it happen in 89 or 90 (Pistons), 1291700 This is true, in 1990 they did not burn down the town. "Determined to prevent a repeat of the riots that followed the Pistons last NBA championship in 1990 that left eight people dead, hundreds injured and dozens arrested, local law enforcement agencies have put together a detailed plan to control the celebrations triggered by a Detroit win." But your point is still pretty funny, not to mention original. 1291700 Thank you. For a minute there I thought that you might have problem with someone making a grossly exaggerated generalization about another city. I know most of you live in your parent's basement so it only makes sense for you to want to be in similar type surroundings. 1291656 Edited January 30, 2006 by rbmcdonald
