However, I also heard last week on Fox that if he was able to secure a TV gig in 2005 he would have retired last year. God help us if this happens. I have a friend that is a marketing big cheese at Ford Motor Co. A few years back a local Ford dealer used Bettis for an ad. After many attempts at shooting the spot, they finally gave up and brought in a voice double. Having to choose between listening to Jerome or Shannon Sharpe could be painful. GO STEELERS! Either way he's out of the NFL this year. And no one could be worse than Shannon Sharpe.
